AIDS and Leukemia free? That almost sounds to good to be true. Im skeptical. Miracles happen everyday, as well as medical advances, but to be cured of both AIDS and Leukemia? Hmmm....
-
Assuming this is true, and there IS a cure, I think it will be a nightmare dispersing the cure all over the world. Another thought, how much would it cost to be 'cured'?
-
Guys, haven't y'all seen I am legend? This shit's gonna get ugly real soon.

Well u can agree or disagree on my view, and I'd love to hear it view on how I see it, I agree aids and leukemia are horrible, and yes I'd love it to be ended. But have u noticed the population, if we cure those diseases, and the birth rate maintains or even grows, we'll have an overpopulation problem, and that would effect everyone.

As disturbing as that is, I have to agree because it is pretty much true. Unless we utilize Siberia and Antarctica, which would be next to impossible, not to mention it would suck.Well u can agree or disagree on my view, and I'd love to hear it view on how I see it, I agree aids and leukemia are horrible, and yes I'd love it to be ended. It would be a better world without them. Hope that they figure it out sooner or later.

That's selfish. If you were dying of aids you would do anything for a cure. Would you think "the fact that I'm dying is good because the population will go down"?Well u can agree or disagree on my view, and I'd love to hear it view on how I see it, I agree aids and leukemia are horrible, and yes I'd love it to be ended. I agree. Besides we have enough birth controll as it is. Next they will be saying that there is to much CO2 in the air and start regulation on that.0201 wrote:

You nailed it. That is why they wouldn't release a cure. Aids was manufactured for population control. The corporations making pills is a billion dollar business, why in gods name would they release a cure for any disease? That wouldn't make them billions anymore.Well u can agree or disagree on my view, and I'd love to hear it view on how I see it, I agree aids and leukemia are horrible, and yes I'd love it to be ended. My grandfather died of leukemia, I was with him at the end and it is a brutal way to die. To say that we have the cure but we shouldn't give it out because the world might become to populated is very disturbing. Thats just messed up man. Y not then not imprison murderers since they are doing the world a favor by keeping the population down. If overpopulation is an issue for u, the answer is very simple. USE A CONDOM!!!Well u can agree or disagree on my view, and I'd love to hear it view on how I see it, I agree aids and leukemia are horrible, and yes I'd love it to be ended. I believe the cure was already invented, just put $10,000 in a syringe and inject it intravenously
-
I see it both sides, Please don't get the impression that I'm selfish. Yes it would be a great thing to let out the cure, we'd have a happier world, families can stay together longer, but I also see it the other way where there r just too many people, I'm catholic, and I believe that those diseases where put here for a reason.
-
My condolences go out to everyone that has lost a friend/ family to these diseases, it is a horrible thing. Half of me wants to release the cure so no one has to go through that

I haven't checked out the first link but check this out.

I found this a few months ago. It works on viruses so it would work on aids also. -
Yes I do believe that it was put here for a reason, a reason I will probably never understand

Ok so go to the hospital and find a young child 6 or 7 years old and tell them, it's ok that they're dying and suffering unbeleivable pain cuz god wants them to die.Yes I do believe that it was put here for a reason, a reason I will probably never understand

I'm christian and i think they were put here for a reason. So that we can learn and eventually develope a cure. Why would god give us the ability to reproduce and then not want us to keep doing it by giving us a disease? Candyman u have a very good point, but I believe everything happens for a pirp

* purpose, why kids die, or people getting shot while enjoying a movie, I will never understand, but it happened for a reason. Do I agree with alot of these reasons. No

U could be right, maybe they are here for us to learn. I do not know why it is here. And for all I know, getting the cure out could save the person that could help with over population, as I said before, I see both sides0201 wrote:

@0201; That's actually not true. There are roughly 7 billion people on this planet, and it's been proven that we could fit all of them in one of our medium sized states if we put everyone shoulder to shoulder. It's not space that's a problem. It's resources.

Leukemia, in many cases, is already a curable disease. I had it 33 years ago and have been free for about 32 years now. The AIDS cure ended up essentially being a bonus of the leukemia treatment (if I remember this story correctly). I had already heard about there being people who are resistant to getting HIV because of something in their blood, so I think it's totally within the realm of possibility that receiving blood from such a person could combat HIV in someone else. Hope this goes a long way toward eradicating it. Though I don't doubt that once we find a cure, there will most likely be some new "uncurable" disease or virus that will show up eventually. Seems to just be the way things go.AIDS and Leukemia free? That almost sounds to good to be true. Im skeptical. Miracles happen everyday, as well as medical advances, but to be cured of both AIDS and Leukemia? Hmmm....

Population Control, that's a laugh. In reality, while world population is still increasing, the rate is declining at an ever increasing rate. Developed countries have been hit the hardest. Countries such as Japan, Russia, and most of Europe are struggling to replace older workers with younger workers, and will soon be unable to meet their employment needs. We are in dire need of more people. In America, we are just under the replacement rate, and we are one of the better off countries in that department. We have the resources to handle much more people, but we are running out of people to use those resources. We need to cure these diseases so we can have people to keep working.
