GREEN DAY or LINKIN PARK?

I am young, but i find that green day songs that ive heard are all light rock/pop songs which I hate above all except rap and opera. So Linkin Park I say.

I agree that punk started In the 70s. You can't overlook the pistols, clash, stooges, or the ramones (the best). But late 80s early 90s punk is where it's at. Mainly because that's when I started getting into music. But that shit was far from manufactured.add: MikeyB wrote:

I don't get all this fighting over music? I listen to what I like that's it! From rock to rap to dance(StevieB), even blitzbrek bop, god even tainted love. The classics are always better then the new things IMO.. Same with rap. Old skool jayz was better then this freak now adays

it's sad to say I agree here. I like metal but if I have to listen to classical in music at school I can't help think. "hmmm this is strangely good" also LP are a manufactured band I prefer older greenday and some new stuff. I'm more into bfmv, metallica, slipknot etcCorrupted1 wrote:

I don't think green day has changed that much over the years. I'm dating myself but I saw them in 91-92, and while they were good they were still pretty much a pop band, for mall punks and teenage girls.
