SAFE ZONES.....

motivating ppl to mob up really won't happen in these Houston gas days it's really going to have many harsh side effects: many new players who have like 1k inf and are more worried about upgrading turfs the adding codes will want to quite after being capped,
also this is really going to make Houston a complete elitest zone because the 7 or so ppl who are well fortified here and have 5k mob will complely dominate the entire city. -
columbus is kinda like a safezone. Its high income and peaceful, but I cant imagine trying to tell players they couldnt cap there. Some of the most fun I have had in this game was cappin people in cbus when I first started out. (I have quite a few kvnk turfs, lol) Safezones take the game away and really only make sense for larger players trying to make safe cash and the worst players of all the whiney people who wont mob up. If I had a safezone near me I would love to break it as well.

I think folks are forgetting what it's like to be a new player and having to scratch and claw to make $ (when it matters most). If I was a new player, I'd prob take advantage of a safe zone at least to start. Especially, if I'm surrounded by some big-ass alliance that's making the rules.
The game is different than 8 months ago when there was still a wild west thing going on in most of the populated areas. I don't see those times returning unless nick reset the game haha! -

Dude, shut your pie hole. You capped a player completely out of the Safe Zone near West U -- an active player. You did this on a non-Gas Day, and now you're whining about "harsh effects" of a Gas Day? You got spanked for what you did and now you want to piss and moan and CYA? stfumotivating ppl to mob up really won't happen in these Houston gas days it's really going to have many harsh side effects: many new players who have like 1k inf and are more worried about upgrading turfs the adding codes will want to quite after being capped,

Attrition again he was inactive he did not respond for 2 days I told him I would stop if he asked me to nothing again I was going to leaves some turfs which I did. I was also not the only 1 capping from him either nor was it the first time him and I got into a conflict. The reason why everyone is mad is because it took 2 turfs in west u bringing my grand total there to 5 turf and that took capo which I did not mean to do I thought widowmaker would have a lot more turfs there. I lost more turfs in that gas day because I took capo of a small city the the rest of u put together
-
I saw others had capped him, but you capped him OUT, completely. Don't jack with the income.
-
No I did not cap him complely I left turfs on the west side which were later take he has a path going north from there of several turfs and still has 2 more in the west u area which I am in range to cap if I wanted to
-
Excuse me, you are correct. You only capped him out of the high-income pile. My mistake. Still uncool.

B4 anything goes down in Houston as far as another gas day, the rules will be made and they will be strictly enforced. By no means am I having a power trip b/c I'm capo of Houston. I just want to get that straight. Since i am capo, I feel it is my duty to keep the income flowing, keep noobs protected UNTIL they can fend for themselves bs keep the enemy out by fortifying the area. If there was ever anyone come into Houston with intentions on taking ppl out and not playing by the rules, I hope all of Houston players would stand up and fight for their city. I am capo, yes, but this is your city as well and a damn good money maker. Nobody wants to loose that. Nikki, Gerlich and any other small players in Houston, stop worrying about these mini gas days I speak of. The rules that will be made will prevent anyone from getting completely destroyed. It's all just for fun. Good practice too if we were to have a war here with outsiders.

Oh yea, 1 more thing for the smaller players. If u have been playing for at least a month now, there is NO reason y u shouldn't have 2k-3k mob by now. With over 8k mob codes on different websites, getting to 3k should be a breeze. Your biggest problem as a noob should be trying to equip your mob with no money.
-
Nickiscool, I capped you because it was gas day & because you capped the player out of the SZ. I did not cap you because of some capo title drama. I didn't know anything about that until I just read it here. Besides, Widow can easily handle whatever that's about himself.
-
Hey I am not too worried about these small gas days the only problem I see is there is really no one for me to cap from it would have to be the same people over and over again just to keep me form loseing turfs on the gas days and the guys I have to take them from would be worse off. Also if u really want to help the small guys putting them in a pile of turfs does not help they would have to pay protection. Just attack them a few times while u have a couple mil in your hand. The don helps them out u lose and they get about 40k an attack that is a small fortune to the guys who just start. Ok
-
Also if expect them to have 2-3k in mob in the first few months that is insane. That is just a giant waste of time just so they can survive in a safezone. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of having a safezone if u have to work hard to be safe in it?
-
Yea, I had capo of West U with only 5 turfs. Nikki took capo and I capped one of his turfs in that area to regain capo. The one I took he had taken from someone else so at that point, it really didn't bother me. He msged, I explained. It concluded with Nikki learning something new. Its all just a learning experience. If anyone wants capo or wants to increase their turf in an area were someone stronger than them is capo of, it might be a good idea to msg them first b4 snatching a capo. Not a big deal, just the principal. And yes, Nikki was not aware at the time but I'm sure he/she will look for that next time.

I am pro safezone for new players. However, I think they should use them wisely. That is the perfect time to mob up. 1) There's no fear of being capped out of the area. 2) It's easier because there are so many codes to punch, plus lots of invites. The nice income can help you arm your mob & you can save up to hop out of the safe zone. You then expand outward by hopping or driving. You always leave some turf in the sz for everyone's income. Cont'd...
-
However, it should not be a place that you keep all your turf in to sit there & do nothing. If you aren't mobbing up or building turf or hopping, then you aren't really playing the game. Plus, it's not like the entire city is a safezone. It's a pocket within a city. For players that don't believe in sz, are you saying you don't have any areas of high income that you would do almost anything to protect?
-
Mystery like I said if the person starts in the middle of the safe zone they have to pay protection so they make no money and if they have to mob up to survive in the safezone that defeats the purpose of having one.
-
you would only be paying protection until level 30...that doesnt take long
-
They don't have to put a turf where someone is covering it. There is plenty of space to avoid that.
-
Also mystery didn't u here widowmaker said the entire area inside the 610 loop is a safezone that most of the area inside houston. So that thing u said about me having alot of turfs outside the safezone is wrong most of mine r stuck inside and the ones that r not r in the middle of nowhere.
-
It's not insane to expect that kind if mob. I've been playing 5 months & have almost 8k (no henchies). 1k per month should be easy to obtain. Besides, like I said, they aren't mobbing up to be in the safezone, they are mobbing up to play the game - out of the safezone.
-
You've been playing long enough that you should have a decent sized mob & nice savings to be able to hop other places.
-
"Safe" Zone is to keep u "Safe" while u build and grow. U don't have to pay protection to anyone. Just don't place that close to others. And if u r new and just starting out and someone slaps a turf on too of yours and starts gaining prot, then just let me know. Pulling protection off of fresh noobs is unacceptable in my safezone. But understand that protection does happen b/c if the amount of turfs in the area. But I guarantee u that paying someone protection will cost u alot less than being in a capping frenzy city with nobody to protect u. It sux to get pounded on day after day loosing money and especially if u are getting capped.
-
Also mobbing up during the school is near impossible. I for one find high school is hell I have no free time for anything like that.
-
So what have you been doing all summer?
-
High school is hell, but there are plenty of people that play TW that work, are married, have kids, & still have plenty of mob.
-
All summer I was on a few vacations in the middle of nowhere where there is no reception. Also I have summer homework. Not all people though play while taking all of the highest level classes where one class gives u 2 hours of homework and they don't have to get up at 5:30 every morning to run cross country.
-
I did add 1000 codes in the midst of all this but we r getting off subject we r supported to be talking about safezones.
-
Wow...looks like I just stumbled into a hornets nest. Good times ahead!
-
You pick your priorities. You have turf inside Bellaire that's outside of 610, that's not a sz.
