Another skinny ass here! I'm 27, 6'0 and 130lbs. I used to be a competitive swimmer, worked out 7 days a week and was once up to 138-140lbs.
I also can't gain weight. I have been to the doctor, had my thyroid checked along with everything else they could think to check out; I'm healthy as can be, nothing wrong at all.
I have recently tried to get back up to my "fighting weight" by eating 5,000 calories (yes, I counted them) a day for a month and didn't gain a pound. Not one.
The only thing I can do to gain weight is lift weights, even then 140 is the most I've ever weighed.
I just choose to live healthy and not worry about it. Stay in shape and be glad you'll never have to pay for two airline seats!

Dude you're still growing, don't mess with your liver by eating synthetic proteins or any other crap. Just eat healthy and regularly. If you want to work out and gain mass then get with your amateur weight lifting buddy about diet and learn when to eat. If you are on a strict eating schedule (times of day), aim for 150 grams or so of real protein (lean poultry, eggs, fish, almonds) and stick with a high weight / low rep workout to build mass and muscle. Work out your core and not just your glamour muscles - focus on back and legs. My 2ć.

You're still growing. Consult your pediatrician to confirm you're not dangerously under weight (doesn't seem so) and eat healthy, exercise consistently. My ex was a total beanpole at 25--borderline unhealthy--but when he stopped growing he filled out nicely. May not be your timeline, but nature has a way of taking care of you. You can always switch to milk as your drink of choice to boost things while you train your body for the future. (rice milk if you're lactose intolerant).
