As the title says I'm looking for help/tips on gaining weight. I'm 6'1 159 pounds 14 years old. My metabolism is SUPER fast...it sucks well atleast right now it does. What I'm doing right now is sticking with proteins..Peanut Butter, peanuts, Fish, Eggs etc. I don't like being so like skinny! My sisters boyfriend is a amatuer bodybuilder so he's kinda guiding me, but all the tips I can get will help
Thanks !I'm 6' 3" and 32 years old. I've never been able to get past 13 stone. No matter how hard I try, I just can't put on any mass atall, I've realised to be happy with the way I look and who I am. I've stopped trying to be something and someone I'm not.
Some of us are just not meant to be over sized. -
Clean carbs to gain, protein for anabolic phase or shredding.

I wish I could say to me self I should gain more weight 😖

3 tbl sp peanut butter, 1 fresh banana In a milkshake with whole milk, ice cream with 20gr protein powder (not soy) for breakfast; tuna, chicken, beef for lunch and dinner; round out with brown rice and other good carbs and fruit, veg. Do this for three weeks and never skip a meal or fill up with snacks or junk. See what you weigh then. Being steady and not just maxing out now and then is key. Drink whole milk with meals.
Also, be happy. As lots of ppl said, when you hit 30...you'll have the opposite problem. ;-)

If you want to gain weight but be fit, drink full fat milk and start doing free weights. Also a quick trick to move up a weights category is to replace most of your protein sources with skimmed milk.

Anyway im 6,1 and 162 pounds which is fine. A lot of people would love to weigh that. Its a perfect boxing middlewight weight.

Don't do anything!! You will fill out in a few years with what you are doing. Once your testosterone levels even out a bit you'll put on a few pounds. And why do you want to gain weight?
-
Eat steak and a banana. Then do your your usual work out routine.
-
Eat fatty, sleep less and don't exercise!! Of course it's not healthy but you'll pack it on hahahah
-
You Want to gain weight eat pasta that's what athletes eat specially profesional boxers when they don't meet their weight before a match their coach would feed then with lots of pasta and in soccer when the young kids have problems developing because of malnutrition their diet includes a lot of pasta

Take it easy, you are only 14, your body it is still going through changes. I was just like you in your age, i was like 40 something kgs. Believe, things will get better, enjoy while you can. I worked out a lot, lots of protein, animal packs and stuff, once you stop working out, you get all skinny again and some fat/muscle will turn into fat. My advice is, wait!! Time will come!! Like i said, enjoy eating, doing all you can without gaining wheight!! Be happy with what you have!!

I would definitely read up on the problems that high fructose corn sugar, aspertame, red dye, modified starches etc. There is some good science out there proving how bad this crap is. It's in almost everything you see on grocery store shelves. Our bodies are not designed to live off all that processed crap all the time. Whole organic foods are your friend and you will be healthier in the long run.

I'm actually working on the opposite. Trying to shed 110 pounds total. Completely adjusted my eating habits, lowered my food intake to 2100 calories a day. Exercising at least an hour almost daily. So far, so good. 40 pounds lost since early march.

Been told all my life that I'll start putting weight on....21,25,30 etc I'm now 32 and been 11 stones for a good 10 years.doesnt matter what I eat,I could eat a bucket of lard everyday and wouldn't make any difference, that's just how some people are built,I'd like to be a fair bit bigger but the end of the day.....I've never had to worry about my weight or worry about what I should be eating,I think it's a blessing.
I couldn't imagine what it's like to have a big gut, especially as you wouldnt be able to visually see your penis -

It's simple. People gain weight if they consume more calories than they burn. Right now u need calories...but do it in a healthy way. Go to ur local supplement shop & purchase WEIGHT GAINER; drink twice a day, and once before bed. Do this while limiting cardio & lifting heavy weight. This is the only healthy way to gain. Good Luck!

Eat one huge meal a day full of greasy fatty foods from the fast food joint of your choice, do absolutely no exercise at all, drink lots of energy drinks and soda, avoid stuff like black coffee sugar-free drinks and water
-
Also, if you must eat another meal, be sure it's equally fatty and 20 minutes before bed

Goto bodybuilding.com forums and ask there. You're a hard gainer, at least for now at your age.
If you want to ask a turf wars forum for this kind of advice probably barking up wrong tree but... simply:
Eat 500+ calories a day OVER your base metabolic rate (BMR... find an online bmr calculator to determine) of clean healthy foods, 1/3'rd protein, 1/3rd healthy fats, and 1/3rd carbs. Do resistance/weight training and NO cardio.
Healthy proteins: Fish, Chicken, Turkey, Lean beef, cottage cheese, protein powder, casein powder
Healthy Carbs: Potato, sweet potato, rice, whole grains, veggies
Healthy Fats: Peanut butter, nuts, avocado, fish oil, olive oil.
