Nope, none of the above.
I do believe in aliens though. Not sure about their color and body fluids. -
How am I supposed to believe in a 'merciful' god when there is so much pain and suffering in the world.
My son suffers with cerebral palsy, is deaf and confined to a wheelchair. He is in pain every day. How is this merciful? Who is being punished here? The innocent child, or his father who's had a relatively easy time of life?
How can this 'merciful' god allow good people to suffer and evil to thrive?
In this world there can be no divine spirit, we're on our own, we decide our outcome and wether to help others along the way or not. -
No.
I'd leave it at that, but it has to be at least 5 letters.

This is how I see things too. -

All knowing and he would know how to stop it and know it is happening
All powerful and he is powerful enough to stop it
Omnipresent and he would be there to stop it. -
You guys do realize which religion you follow is based almost entirely on where you were born?

A person does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line...Atheism turns out to be too simple. If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning.

Human nature. Hormones and chemicals in the brain.
Love is just a hormone released when seeing a mate.
Unselfishness is instinct to keep the rest of the tribe alive by giving food you don't need yourself ect
Gentleness is a natural instinct to encourage team work and moral support.
Goodness, this statement is vague for me to counter.
Sacrifice is once again a natural instinct to keep the rest of the tribe alive. To keep your DNA alive.
Reason, far to vague again.
Intelligence was just a mutation in the brain that enabled more nerve connections to be made.
Justice is a natural instinct to motivate the tribe and you usually after the death of a family member. It's a way of dealing with grief. -
If there is no God then how are we here? The law of biogenesis states that nothing living can be created from something non-living and vis versa. There is no such thing as spontaneous generation. There has to be something to start it all. Believe what you want, but I believe in God.

Poppycock, I say, pure poppycock.

Grief... Grief is a reaction created by the brain when a person close to us dies.
It's prime function is to show us that we need to be more careful so that another important asset of the team doesn't get killed. To be honest, human nature is so simple and cold when you look into it.

People become close because if you repeatedly see someone, your brain produces small amounts of oxytocin. The brain becomes "addicted" in a way to this oxytocin produced when seeing this person. You are now close to them as you want to see them.
This was to improve team work and survival. -

Shoot me, but he has some...thing...that even my other son does not. He draws people. They just...love him and are loved back. How did he come by that? The hard way...

Again, you only believe these things because of where you were born. If you were born and raised in Saudi arabia you'd be Muslim, In India you'd probably be Hindu. There is no universal belief, it's all socially constructed.

Ah! You see, the clever thing is that produces small amount of oxytocin when it isn't seen as a valuable mate, aka family member or someone of the same sex.You said it was for mating however a person is not going to mate with a close friend especially a male friend when they are male
But when met with a valuable mate, you produce more oxytocin then before. And even more if touched by this person.
Sometimes the brain does view family members as valuable mates. But most of the time we naturally seek a larger gene pool. -

By intelligent design, of course. Men have nipples on purpose. Since god made man first, he stuck them in there just for aesthetics. With women, he was like: I'm going to put milk down in her crotch. Then at the last minute, he went for the man nipples, just to see how it would look. SUCCESS!!🙎🔥DEV@STATOR🔥🙎 wrote:

Uhhh, according to Genesis, the sky and the land and the sea came to be filled with living souls.
What? Is that a mistake? What mistranslation of the bible are you using?

First I would like to say that I would never want to disagree with someone over their beliefs. However a person finds comfort it is entirely up to them, be it god, Allah, jahova, alcohol or drugs.
My earlier outburst was due to a difficult evening at home explaining to a child why his younger brother would be going to a different school than him, because he's 'special'. Then having to give him his baclofan to relax his muscles, his melatonin to help him sleep, and then searching the house and garden for his hearing aids, which he'd hidden so he wasn't so special any more.
I was a student of physics and chemistry. I place my life in the hands of medics. When I need love and support I have my family and friends.
Am I missing something in my life? Very probably. Is it religion? I doubt it. -
