My 2 cents:
There's no such thing as a safe zone. It's about stronger players telling the weaker ones what to do. Take Drizzy for example. Mel had turf in his safe zone in Austin. When I was paddling his guy around over a 1000 miles away in Chicago, he decided he would cap Mel in the safety zone (Mel in no way, shape, or form helped me in that battle) because he thought it would get me to stop on his guy.
I've seen tons of examples of this. If u wanna help new players, just fucking do it. To make a safety zone is just another pissing contest IMO.

Another thing that would drive me nuts is when Mel first started drizzy would bully her. Then they both said it was cool later because drizzy did her a favor. I asked what, and they said that he let her build in the safety zone!! I don't know about u all, but when I could get a new player to build next to me in Memphis I would b thrilled and I'd consider him doing me a favor.

Very nice. Safe zones are NOT needed to hel new players.
But what of areas outside of safe zones? Do you consider noobs fair game?

I get your point. I tend to play against people the way they play against me.
That being said, i can respect the alliance areas for the most part, but not being part of the alliance, I shouldn't feel compelled to follow their rules.
I play a fair game. But if I was to cap 2 or 3 or 4 turfs from a strong, high mob, high influence player, it shouldn't matter where the area is.
Safe zones are fine if everyone is in agreement. Those not on agreement, have the right to act as please. On the same note, the other players in the area have the right to deal with the invader any way they see fit.

If I cap in a safe zone, I will deal with the consequences.
And I will do so without complaint.

As to relevance, considering I am coming through every one of your territories, I would say I have a vested interset in these talks and any resolution as i af pledged full support to parties involved.
And to Putz-you and your opinions hold no relevance to me until I land in your area. And even thing, the only thing of any relevance will be your turfs.

I've seen stated that Oakland was a safe zone, philly in it's entirety was no cap.
Just seeking calarification.
How about posting a list of safe zones? I'm going coast coast. Am I expected to ask every turf group I encounter if it's a safe zone?
