I was also living and working in lower manhattan. I saw the towers fall, I saw people juping out before that, and when I got home that day I was covered in ash. I had to show my id to soldiers with machine guns to get home to my apartment. I breathed that shit for months, I will never get that smell out of my head, ever.

And I gotta say, to see this fucking horrible thing used to get us into a profit motivated war with Iraq is sickening. Shit, even Afghanistan, most or the highjackers were Saudi.

And honestly, they mostly did a great job. They caused an insane amount of damage and destruction with very little. But they fucked up, they didn't really attack America, they attacked NYC. They killed people from a hundred different contries in those buildings. If theY really wanted to attack America, they should have flown the planes into a mall in Wichita. NYC is the American ideal, but far from the reality.
