  Thought I'd bump this for a good read for some newer players. I was just thinking about it and thought I wanted to give it another read myself, for old times sake. This player has been long gone for some time now, but he was a true gentleman. This was the best read I've ever gotten out of the tw forums to date, and I highly recommend it despite the length

  I can't believe I just found this... Wow what an amazing story.. I can't imagine being in his shoes.. It's too bad he doesn't write anymore.. I would love to read more of his stories.. Anyone know why he doesn't play??

  Is this sarcasm? I checked my cash this morning per my weekly schedule and I had alot of messages, then read forums out of curiosity and then when I posted people pointed me here.

  FF if anything I want you to know that reading this may have saved my life this last couple days. Glad it was bumped. I have dealt with addiction for years, some good some really bad. I also deal with depression and mostly have it controlled. Oct 19th was my 37th bday. Then next night I lefty dad at the hospital to get my wife. He wasn't expected to last more than a day. As I neared home I watched my wife get arrested for DUI(got of with fixit ticket). Exact time I received call that father had passed away. Told wife he was looking out for her one last time. Been really hard knowing i missed his passing. But reading this as I watch my 4yr old play really has cleared my mind of the thoughts of doing something stupid. I am glad my father knew I was clean and sober when he passed. Opiates have been my hell for years. I contracted hep C and after seven months of hellish treatment it is undectectable for over 2 yrs now. But liver took 40 yrs damage in 5 yrs. continued.

  Since dads issues were from cirrhosis of liver I now fear dying as he did. Not fun to watch a 275 lb. man that raised you and loved you become so powerless and weak. Now I deal with unrelated prostate issues(possible cancer). Pain some days is so bad I can't even walk up the stairs. I have refused narcotics til now but soon may have to cave because of the pain. After reading your story I no longer wish to risk using and running from myself. If I could beat hep C the cancer somehow doesn't scare me. My fear is that I will go hide behind the spoon so to speak. Now I see this is not an option. For my kids, wife, mom, and fathers memory. I have to be here no matter how much my mind says I am just a burden or how much I grieve for my father. Just wanted you to know that your writings have helped someone. You may have just saved a family you never even met. Thank you and I hope you continue to show others there is a way out. Why are chances this was bumped when I need to hear it. God works in mysterious ways.

  Nah I live in the country away from everything now, I'm so far in the boonies I can't plant turf xD, wife took everything and when my granddad died I gained his lake house, but I'm very much alive pimp, my grocery boy needs to hurry the fuck up, ill plant my 84 influence turf on his forehead..I'm starved
