So what's your oppinion?

I live in a small worthless village which would be pointless to target.
Does that make them not a terrorist? -
Not all criminals are terrorists, but they're always criminals. That's my smart vote. But don't put me on a jury and ask me again.

👎one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. But a criminal is always a criminal.

That's not the point. It's their modus operandi. They want to intimidate and frighten their targets. The fact that they are ineffectual pussies doesn't really matter.Brown🎵Note😲 wrote:

There's no difference between holding resources hostage for political ends and threatening to blow up a building for political ends. Same-same.
The weather underground bombed empty buildings. Terrorists. What's the difference?

I think the word terrorist is a political term used for propaganda. We're the Bostonians terrorists when they dumped British tea in the harbor?💀nobody💀 wrote:

Any act of intimidation designed to influence a political end within a system is terrorism.
You patriots out there that want to say it wasn't terrorism, that's fine. Call it military action from outside the system. But the crown certainly defined the tea party as terrorism, and justifiably so.

👎 True but some times annoyance works...👊annoyance 👎 not terrorists
When we had a sit in, in front of the principles office my Junior year of Highschool we we're nothing but an annoyance but we still got the rules changed!!!
If more people would stand up for what they believe instead of just whining and waiting for politicians that "Promise" change maybe this world would be a better place!!!
It's my hope that these teenagers that are willing to "go to jail" (even if they don't know exactly what that means) will grow up to be adults that can tell difference between following somebody and following thier own logic and Are not afraid to stand up for what they believe!!!!

I think in the last couple decades the definition of terrorists has drastically shifted in the American psyche. I think labeling people "terrorist" based on the standard definition due to relatively small attacks on economic and social networks online is a few steps below blowing up the USS Cole, or carrying out horrific attacks on the civilian population.
Calling anon "non-peaceful yet non-violent protestors and saboteurs" is far appropriate in my opinion. Just my thoughts, but anyone else think the whole concept of terrorism has a completely different meaning now after all the civilian targeted attacks on many of the Western world?

I think by "inside the system" means the change will come from inside not the act of the terrorist being inside.

By that definition any act of war is an act of terrorism. While that would be correct b/c the goal of war is to get the other side to capitulate by means of death and destruction, Greenman is right that politicians and pundits are trying to make terrorists fit closer to a criminal definition. The line for me is the taking of innocent life and the targeting of civilians.

Terrorism is using terror as a weapon to target the populace or government

A circular definition.
And when I say inside or outside "the system", I mean the state's laws.
