Wisest 15 year old ever. EVER. You have your whole life to drink. There is a minimum age for a reason. Please heed it. You don't have enough life experience to deal with potential consequences. As a fellow 15 year old, I say don't do it. I've seen first hand what it can do. At our age, we are still learning so much and we can't afford to have alchohol mess up our heads. Just wait a few years.

All I can say is that you should all wait until you're of legal age!
For my part I was Screeched at the age of 20, and I have the certificate to prove it!!! 😏

Well everyone pretty much said what I would. As for tasting it, here's a slightly humorous story:
When I was in first or second grade, I was drinking a can of soda. I put it on a table next to my fathers nonalcoholic beverage. When I reached down to get my soda, I grabbed that instead. Wasn't a very nice taste… was spitting it out for five minutes…

Yeah, but your government is messed up.I feel the legal drinking age should be 18 in America. At that age, a citizen can vote, buy cigarettes, have a medical card, go to prison, tried in court as an adult, and be drafted to war and kill people in another country.
All that is from the same govt that says we're too not ready to drink.
Wait ... Dammit, a 15 year old has more logic than half the world's politicians put together. -

I don't think that too many people here know what getting Screech mean... It's not about the tv character.

Ya and being French I was getting a lot of attentions from the French girls. -
Ok I'm sorry but I'm going to go against all the advise people are giving here. I work in a bar and I see night after night of 21 year olds (US) having their first drink and end up in a wreak, arrested or in the hospital with alcohol poisoning that it's retared to wait till your of legal age. 1: you have no idea what your limits are and you WILL surpass what they are. 2: you'll be in a mood to drink alot bc you finally can drink legally and 3: if you have friends that are older and/or have drank before who are also drinking they won't know to stop you bc you'll already be drunk before they are.
-
Here's my advice: go out and get wasted with some very good friends who want to try drinking some where safe. The next day you'll have a 100% better understanding of the effects and your limits on alcohol. If you choose to drink again before your legal keep it in moderation as not to get dependent on the stuff. This way when you are finally legal you will know for yourself what your limits are and the effects of going over those limits

And for the record my dad did this to me when I was 15 for 2 reasons. Teach me my limit and to show me how I acted so when I got my drivers permit I wouldn't try to drive drunk. It also kept me from getting into trouble if I went to parties where alcohol was involved

I see both points of the argument here. I started
drinking really young, at age 13. I was a high school alcoholic at 16. Thankfully, I asked for help and was able to quit. Stopped drinking when I was 18, and didn't have another til I was 21. I now only have 1 drink when I go out. Friends of mine haven't been so lucky. Those who haven't been killed doing something stupid while drunk had to pay hefty fines, lost their drivers licenses, and one is serving a 30 year sentence for second degree murder. I say wait awhile, then try it. But be careful. -

In Canada if you let someone drink under the legal age you can go to jail! It's a law and it's being enforce so I still say no!!!ⓐⓓⓓ👊ώħΘ wrote:

It is NOT legal even with parental supervisions and or approval!!! Any parents allowing someone under legal age to drink in their own house could be charge. If I'm a parent and another parent would let my daughter drink I would have them charge!!!
-
I'm from Wisconsin. The law here is obviously 21 to drink alone or with friends, but if you are with a parent, you are allowed to drink at any age I believe. I think my first drink was at 15. Went to my friends house with her parents. Probably had a six pack of schmirnoff? Lol. Perfect for a few girls sharing the six pack. If you want to try it, just make sure your not dumb about it pretty much. Don't go overboard because it won't take that much your first time. Don't drive at all!! Like stated before, people wait till 21 than die of alcohol poisoning because they go overboard and don't know their limits. You'll be fine after a couple beers. Just don't start off with shots and going crazy.

Fair enough. I've had a cop tell us that it was alright to drink in our houses when our parents were there as long as we don't go crazy. I think that they are lenient when it comes to having a little drink with your parents. I mean, we drink wine in church. It is NOT legal even with parental supervisions and or approval!!! Do it now.
It won't be as fun when it's legal.
You'll just have to go harder to get a kick out of it.
Long as your okay with breaking the law, consider legal drinking age is different across The world.
The simple fact that you were able to logically seek advice on the subject leads me to Beleive that you won't drink and drive or knock some chick up. Do it in a safe place like home or a friends house. And stay put for the night. -
In Canada it's 19 and I'm pretty sure you have similar laws but most parents are not aware of the law and some stats may let it go but I know for a fact that here in Canada people get charge everyday for letting under age people drink in their own house. Some police may be lenient when it come to your own kids but if they have friend over their parents may not be as understanding.

Drinking is so much more dangerous than that stuff. Minus, of course, the armed forces, but that is totally a choice; if you aren't mature enough to handle the army, you probably won't join.I feel the legal drinking age should be 18 in America.
