  The actual reason that Christian hollidays are so close to the old pagan versions is quite frankly the original Christians had no hollidays. The Romans being a celibiritory people this wast going to fly. So the hollidays and many of the traditions were given a new name. The eggs and the bunny is one of the throwbacks from the spring fertility festivals of the Greeks and Romans.

  They're the same thing. A satanist will also use neo pagan gods. A neo pagan usually won't call on satanic entities though
