I don't know for the rest of the world,but in Greece (where I'm from) most of the churches were build exactly above the ruins of ancient temples.historians and architects say this happened because they wanted to keep the vibes during the transition from the ancient gods religion,to Christianity. So as Belial said,everything is connected...
