"He just borrowed others ideas for his own philosophy. It's not uncommon and he was more honest about it than most. It doesn't make it a bad philosophy"
You late teens, early 20s? I'm not talking about borrowing ideas I am talking about full on plagiarism of sections of books. Of course it was all written for profit anyhow.

No taxation without representation!
Wait, I think I'm a few hundred years too late. Crap.

Im assuming you're talking about the USA?
I believe that (non fortune 500) domestic industrial companies who hire legal, non-foreigner employees should recieve a tax cut to support their company. Corporations should be taxed on the sliding scale like the middle class Americans with my possible tax break. I also think that the rich (people making over $1,000,000 per year) should be taxed starting at at least 35% with no possibility of going lower than that. The middle class should have a little more of a tax break, maybe 2-3% at least.

Separation of c&s has nothing to do with lawmakers praying. It's about lawmakers making laws or using tax code to get churches to "pray the right way".🔫🌊🗻Benny DaBOSS wrote:

All right... Anybody that wants to set tax policy, either vote in the representatives that will do it for you, or whip out your doctorate in economics to back what you are saying, or STFU.

I agree it could be a mess. Progressive taxation is something this country decided was right for us a very long time ago. The more you make the more you are taxed in each bracket (partly because of something B said - the more you make the more resources you most likely use!!!). Most people assume its a flat top tax rate for their whole income but it's not. Also, I agree with JO, reform is what we need, not a band aid. Close those loopholes!!💀Keyser⌖Söze💀 wrote:
I agree 100% on this as well. I worked hard to get where I am at. Now I have to pay more as entage for my hard work? I have mixes feelings on the flat tax rate. If done right it could work but done wrong it could be just another mess.Get✯SomeⒼ₡❸ wrote:

Yes thank you pain management for getting these people addicted to drugs. It's not ridiculous. There was a patient on the floor I worked recently. Just her medication alone was $34,000. The reason is she had "Crohn's disease". It is in quotes because she is FULL OF SHIT. She would get dilaudid q4hr because she was in "pain". Yet she was also walking up and down the hall with her OJ and smelling of ETOH ALL THE TIME! At the same time there was another patient who freaked out because she wanted to know how the time change would affect her pain meds schedule. Both of them had an alarm clock to wake them when pain meds were due. Also had one patient who was admitted for facial cellulitis. Tested positive for cocaine, opiates, benzos and THC. Guess who is paying for all three of those patients visits. The tax payer.
It's a vicious cycle.

And no one has touched in and flat out said Reagan's taxation plans were bs. They just chime in that raising taxes won't work. I don't see why a level of just over 20 years ago couldn't work in this day and age.

I heard someware, don't remember were. That if the government legalized marajawana and taxed it the government would make a lot of money. Doubt that will happen though.
DISCLAIMER: I do not condone the use of marajawana or any other illegal drug.

Must say I'm agains sales tax of any sort. It's like being taxed twice.

Everyone should pay the same % of what they make in taxes. Why should someone pay a higher percentage just because they worked hard and got themselves a good job? People who make more money use government programs less too. The problem is not taxes, the real problem is that there is too much waste by the government.

Just simply saying tax the rich is not a solution.
Honestly that is like me saying let's get off foreign oil and lower gas prices by only allowing each household to have one car. Oh yeah and it has to be a compact one.
