@Sammy whatever
I was proposing that the act of touching the ship with his bare hand somehow formed a link to a download of OUR information from OUR technology that THEY were in the middle of taking from the rendlesham forest base. -
So the binary did translate because it was our early binary computer code, they were taking from us in order to monitor our progress. Just my speculation. But like you I didnt think them giving us information in binary seemed probable considering what happened.

👍although I dont believe aliens exist at all. Maybe I'm selfish but I want the universe all to myself!!! Muahahaha! Or really all to mankind I mean. Although SOME (small amount) of science fiction movies/stories I enjoy.💚ǤƦєɛɲՊɑɳҳ℘ℎıƖҽ wrote:

Agree to disagree Brown. I respect your points. Although what your saying is true, I hate that fact and wish more innovations weren't always militarized first. But you have made a sound rebuttle with pointing out that we the people did this to ourselves in a way, and I can't even come up with a better rebuttle without looking like a hypocrite and because I'd need to rely on personal feelings, and speculating people's emotional desire for peace on earth, which are too weak, and I'm pretty sure you'd call me out for not being able to back them with anything tangible.
So well done! Respect. you've given me something to ponder. I don't often lose debates online. But when I do I give credit where it's due.

But languages are usually not deciphered due to our knowledge of differences in other languages. Understanding language is more about building on a foundation of understanding how frequent a pattern shows up, and which times other patterns appear with it.💚ǤƦєɛɲՊɑɳҳ℘ℎıƖҽ wrote:

I really appreciate that, and I respect your feelings on the matter.
I am a child of the cold war, raised in a multi-generational military family. I served on a missile submarine. I appreciate all of the amazing achievements that only a cold war between superpowers could motivate.
The moon landings, satellites, our highway system, nuclear propulsion, inertial guidance systems, the Internet, GPS, etc, etc.
My favorite result of WWII and the cold war is that we have taken a stance of opposition ideologically from our adversaries.
Before WWII, 27 states had legislated eugenics based sterilization, and many longed for euthanasia programs like the new Nazi state had achieved.

...And before the cold war, (which really began in the 20s), the United States had a much smaller aversion to Marxism, and since, the principles of free enterprise, personal liberty, and private property were emphasized and promoted like never before.
It took the Nazis and the Chinese-Soviet threat to make us what we are today, and I am proud of the result.
Out of suffering and horror arose a much better world, and I'm glad we prevailed against adversity stronger because of it.
