What r ur thoughts bout 🚬

One of my first threads in TW forums was about my regret for starting smoking. I still smoke a pack a day, and I still regret the choice to start smoking in the first place. Of all the bad decisions I've made, this I the one that still effects me daily. I don't mind most of the laws regarding smoking, except the bars. I've always felt it should be the owners' choice to allow smoking or not. It's not like non smokers need to support bars that allow it. And there will always be places that choose not to allow it. But why a law? When that law passed in Washington I was managing a hookah lounge, that essentially went out of business. We still sold supplies, but had to shift our focus from hookahs and service, to pipes and bongs in a strictly retail environment. While I would encourage young people to never start smoking, I will respect the individuals' rights to make their own decisions.

Alcohol is legal and you cant drink it anywhere you want. All drinking does is hurt the person who is doing it. How come I cant have a few drinks while driving down the road with my kids in the car, or at the mall? This is 🐴💩I smoke and I know lots of other people who do. I'm not dead or dying and neither are they
The people who run new York are people who have never picked up a cigg and don't know how it feels to smoke
There also products of the d.a.r.e campaign
I'm tired of anti smoking laws. if it's a legal substance I should be able to smoke it just about anywhere I want. -
Smoking should be illegal. It is a highly addictive substance. The only reason it is still legal is the fact that it was "grandfathered" in before modern day regulations. Making it suddenly illegal would result in black markets. Regulating it to death will slow kill it and fade it away. It will be interesting to see where it is at in 30 years.

I don't like smoking but why remove people's choices in life.
If someone wants to drink their choice, someone's wants to smoke their choice, someone wants to ride a motorbike on one wheel their choice, someone wants to walk a tight rope over a huge drop then their choice.
Governments should reduce the amount I intervention into people's lives. Soon everyone will live in a padded cell paying 99% tax to stop anything bad happening to you 😂

Cigarettes smell terrible, they make your clothes smell simply awful, they stain your teeth, kill your lungs, give you gaggin worth bad breath. Not to mention they cost a small fortune but guess what....
I effing love it!! I smoke and I enjoy it. What's to enjoy about what I just listed you may ask! I dunno? In a way it makes me feel good. It gives me a sense of satisfaction I don't seem to be able re create with anything else. Yes it's an addiction but to me it more than that! It's a comfort! 👍

I was just talking about something similar to my buddy. Cigarettes are on their way out. I've noticed in the last 5 years or so that it doesn't seem to be considered so hip and cool anymore. I quit two years ago and don't miss it. I've had friends quit smoking left and right. People are realizing how shitty cigarettes are. The age of ciggies is slowly diminishing. Thank god. The smell alone disgusts me.Smoking should be illegal. It is a highly addictive substance. The only reason it is still legal is the fact that it was "grandfathered" in before modern day regulations. That's evil. For some peope it's the only way they can deal with the stress of their lives. Not only are you possibly risking others health but you are basically slowly killing yourself.

Not even a designated areaWell that smoke get stuck in everything. I wouldn't want to walk around the enclosed mall with the stench of smoke always stick there.

You're a moron. When they first started talking about no smoking laws in Canada, everybody freaked out trying to say it would kill businesses, infringement on their rights, etc.
Once the laws were enacted and people had time to adjust, it turned out all of the worry was for naught. Businesses were fine and the minor inconvenience to walk a little further to smoke ended up being okay. If anything, it'smade it better for everyone to enjoy going places without having to throw their stinky smokey clothes right into the wash as soon as you got home.
I say embrace the no smoking laws. You'll be happier and better off in the long run.

I smoke. I'm glad I smoke. I have no intention or desire ever to quit.
-
I don't like it when people smoke around me. But what can you do?
-
A simple solution.
Enact the following law:Anyone born after December 31st 1994 cannot buy, smoke or be in posession of cigarettes, ever.
In other words, if you your not 18 when the law takes effect, you will never have the opportunity to damage your health in this particular manner.
You're not asking anyone who is legally smoking to quit.
You are not immediately crippling an industry.
Within one generation we will have an entire population of non-smokers.

The govenment isn't actually allowed to make laws regarding things we do such as smoking. People have the right to do things to help them handle stress. Point blank.
-
I feel smoking is a good thing. It helps relieve stress and energize. I don't think id be able to live without it. I'd have no way to manage stress and would be sluggish and depressed all the time. Smoking has saved my life

Thing is there's almost nothing as effective at handling stress at tobacco.

How about you let people who want to smoke, smoke
And if you don't smoke don't get into other peoples lives about it
It's your life do what you want and make your own choices, don't let the govt make up your mind about smoking -

And yet I guarantee I handle stress better than you are right now. Name something else that completely kills all stress in five minutes. You can't. You also can't find an easier more effective weight loss approach.
