Lucid Dreaming - How to avoid a nightmare.
Forums › General Discussion › Lucid Dreaming - How to avoid a nightmare.-
As many of you already know, I'm teaching the Turf Wars community how to have Lucidic dreams. Although people are not trying it because their common fears that they've heard about this meditation. As the following:
- Sleep Paralysis
- Demonic Symbols and creatures
- Looking in the mirror while dreaming
- Dead ancestorsetc. Yes, these are all fully capable of happening to you. Although, you should not fret of seeing these types of things. As they are normal for almost every Lucidic dreamer. The reasons you are seeing these types of things is because your mind thinks of them. How do I stop my brain from seeing these things you ask? Technically, you can't. Unless you overcome your fears of certain things. But a way to stop your mind from doing these Temporarily, is to have calm meditations while listening to Binaraul beats, or white noises. These beats cause your brain to focus on whatever YOU want to focus on.
If you have anymore questions, feel free to send A PM or post below for extra support.

Yawn.

Also, if you're scared to dream because you don't want to look into a mirror. You can do literally ANYTHING in a dream, if you really think hard enough. You can wish the mirrors away, it may sound wierd, but if you set your mind to it, you can accomplish anything in the dream world.

Man, I read the first thing yesterday, just watched the first hour or so of Inception, and now this? My brain is going to explode… though will that just wake me up from this dream, if it is one?

I've been lucid dreaming since I was 10. I think, once, I had a nightmare I couldn't turn into an adventure.
scare the heck outta me.
But after that, as I gained better control, I learned how to turn the bad into the good ;)
Thanks for the post, glad to know I wasn't completly insane :) -
I don't dream anymore. Any tips to make sure I dream, and to make sure it's not a nightmare?

Turn on the Binaraul music
Flip the lights
Get comfortable
Keep a smile on your face
Think of something awesome, or that you enjoy.
Do a reality check, ask yourself, am I dreaming? Or look at your watch, as it will be blurry in the dream world.
Relax and enjoy your dream. -

Dreamings over rated , it acomplishes nothing . Plus I haven't had one for many years

You always look screwed up in mirrors in dreams, sometimes so screwed up it scares you and cause nightmares. For example I looked in one and my eyes in the mirror looked like it was severely painted, scary stuff bro
-
Bout the mirror thing... I remember a non lucid dream and looking in a mirror... Scary crap. All I saw was two eyeballs looking back at me on little red strings of flesh holding them up.
