Sleep Paralysis
One time, I was awoken from my lucid dream. (I'm a lucid dreamer) I was awoken because I had looked in the mirror whilst in my dream. The reflection on the mirror was so horrifying that I had awoken into a nightmare, which is sleep paralysis. I had tried to move, but couldn't, I could only move my eyes. After a few minutes I began seeing these demonic symbols and creatures, one of them looked like hades him self. They were very violent, one of them had jumped on to my chest and started pounding there vicious hands onto me, finally I had regained control and was awoken once more from sleep paralysis and could move and speak once more.

Ive been through this a few times. It truly is scary. I remember thinking "is this permanent?" I think it's been a few years since the last time I've experienced it. Does anyone know what causes it?

Sleep paralysis has nothing to do with demons....sounds like you need an exorcist...
It's purely you being in a half dream status.
Because you begin to panic from not being able to move. You lose control of your half active mind and see nightmares in the real world.
It's said that everyone has experienced it at least once in their life. But most shrug it off as a nightmare.Also... Over half of alien abductions are tracked down to just to someone who had experienced sleep paralysis.

At least your imagination came up with it. You can imagine then again and again! -

I woke up stomach hurting and couldn't move anything next thing I know I've got a chick where a chick wasn't when I went to sleep if you know what I mean 😄
But Through my clothes (what little i wear to bed) I could feel it like it was real 😳Then I sat up and she was gone 😳

This is truely terrifying ! The paralysis is fucking well scary !!! I think your awake but your body is still asleep. I didn't have any people in the room or demonic stuff but I did have a dream that I got possessed by a demon that went into my head like smoke and my head was burning up hot !! And when I woke up my head was still burning and I had the tingles of terror going down my spine scary shit ! The tv was on before bed for a few nights after !

It really is scary as shit when you go through it. It's more common with a change of scenery, stress, or alcohol. This happened to me when I went to visit my friend for a few
Months in a different state. Your body is still asleep so you can't move but you do see demons, or ghost like figures. Mine was grabbing at me... I freaked out but than looked it up and realized it was just sleep paralysis. It happens to a lot of people. The mind is a crazy thing!!!! -

The name I've heard it referred as is "Night Terrors". Had them a couple if times where I would see a silhouette, a dark figure standing in the doorway. Can't move or call out for help...nothing. Thank goodness it was only a molester and not a murderer.

I used to have dreams of a large demonic cat sitting on my chest in bed, getting crushingly heavier and heavier. Come to find out in old Norse mythology that was a way people would have others killed, by sending a ghostlike cat that would sit on enemies' chests while they slept, crushing them to death. 😱
