Some Clarification

  Hey everyone,
  As you might have heard recently, a player was temporarily granted a number of henchmen to prevent them from exploiting a feature intended for the protection of new players. Many valid questions were raised about the way this was handled, and I'd like to clear the air about the motivations behind this decision.

  First, the temporary henchman grant was made in lieu of a ban. The henchmen removed the advantage gained by deliberately keeping one's mob low, allowing the player to keep their account without being able to use the exploit. In retrospect this was a poor decision. Except for global feature changes and the account resets given to cheaters, we have never interfered with our players’ game stats. This was an unfortunate yet isolated incident, and none of your account’s stats or capabilities will be changed in the future, beyond normal game updates.

  Regarding the claims that we favor some players over others, they are complete bullshit, pardon my language. Turf Wars has many thousands of players, and no player, no matter how much they spend (real or imagined) has our ear over others. Favoring one player or group of players means screwing thousands of other customers – it's not fair to the community and it's just not good business.

  Many players, especially those who've seen the exploit firsthand, are justifiably concerned about the way this situation was handled. A significant amount of time is required to collect enough data to make a fair gameplay adjustment, and competes with the multitude of other tasks required to keep an online game running. We are looking at several possible solutions to the exploit, and are working to develop a solution that is fair to everyone as soon as possible.

  The bottom line is if you find an exploit with the game, then choose to gloat about it on the forums and to other players, you're going to get shut down.

  Bust a bunch of energy recharges on take out rival. Should get one for 100 points or less I'd say

  thanks nick. i really dont see why everyones whining. 4k TEMPORARY hench. if any one bothered to put some effort into punching they could get 4k mob and it wont be temporary. simple temporary fix for an exploit. seems fair to me. now everyone stop bitching.

  I've been reading and keeping up on this and one thing I wanted to bring back up was why not have level 25 And X amount of mob, say 500? The person who mentioned it (I forget who) said a thousand but I think that is a bit much. It would get rid of the really small "micromobs" and 500 I think is very easy to reach. I could be wrong but it seemed like a good idea, any ideas why it wouldnt be?
