Code are deleted as they become expired...Yea, how often will the list be updated? There are currently about 700 codes there now. Some are about to expire. 1 code actually already did. Also, are these codes every single new guy that registers the game from here on out?
It is updated each hour...

right on...Nick didn't side with anyone. He offered it to everyone with a code site. (At least that's what I assume based on his post from a week or 2 ago asking everyone with a code site to contact him via feedback.) I'm guessing thuglife's site was just the first to implement it.

nothing personal Nick. But I have to agree. Invitecodematrix is better run and un-bias. How can you support someone who on their website says to remove certian mobsters? I can understand the desire to show appreciation towards the various code sites & all the hard work they put in to it...but couldn't you just offer them loot items?
Who would honestly buy henchmen now that there's access to every player that joins the game...
No longer a need for teamwork in mob building; Invite Forum becomes far less useful.
There's no longer a need to contact new players on the map, trying to coax their invite code out of them...
Everyone who wishes to remain competitive is forced to go to the code sites now. Those without pc's might as well cut your losses, reset & quit.

that's what I'm thinking about doing. The system no longer is wieghted toward hard work. Just being a member of thugs club. A. This has nothing to do with thuglife. When it comes to this game let's face it he's "on it". It's no surprise he was first to implement this. There will be others.
I just hope it doesn't turn from code wars to code nuclear warfare. I'm happy to have finally entered enough codes to kiss the bottom of the USA top list when I had like 800 mob in March. Now to have to enter possibly hundreds more a day is not something I look forward to.
It is a great idea for noobs to help them get interested in the game so I will support it.
But I don't have to look forward to it.

so by logic then. I can Create a anti thuglife site and I should have the full support from Nick. Simple fact is. Your site is bias. Sites supported by Nick should be impartial. Yours isn't.davey boy wrote:

Are players that Reset considered "new" players?...do they get a temp code when they reset?

I can definitely understand this point of view & also the side where now we'll have some competition on the leaderboard (though it won't be earned nearly as much as those of us who are already there).I can understand the desire to show appreciation towards the various code sites & all the hard work they put in to it...but couldn't you just offer them loot items?

Did mobcode.org implement this yet???
-
Here's my thoughts on the whole issue...
Yes, it's a different method of getting/punching codes...okay, but with that said, let's look at the big picture.
IF (big if) you keep up with the temporary codes as they released (and assuming you've already typed in all the other known codes up to this point)...then typing in the temporary codes is ALL you need to do. You don't have to search the map for new players that pop up...you don't have to post your code lists on players comment pages...you don't have to peruse the invite forums any more. This would be the one and only place you go to punch codes...and that's it. If indeed all the new players are in the Temporary code list, then that's going to be every player in the game that's new that starts.

There is no support. Nick gave the api to everyone and I was the only one to set it up that is why Tufwars.info was promoted.

The downside to this system
These codes are a pain to punch...and it's much easier to make mistakes typing them out.
There is now much less interaction with any of these new players that come on board...and so we have no good feeling of whether or not these players will or won't be accepting our invites. However, I imagine that at least as many will be accepting the invites as there were previously...so there should only be an increase in everyone's day-to-day mob gain. -
O think this system will turn off the noobs. There's no longer a chance for player interaction. Also the system no longer takes any effort to mob up. I see no upside. Only the downturn of the game
