We all know, the community has always encouraged players to mob up.
But what happens when a player doesn't want to mob up?
I mean, where in the game TOS does it say we have to up or we're violating a TOS?
Or where does it state we may be forcefully mobbed up against our choice?
Where's the line between us playing a game and the devs playing us?
I'm not seeing the line...

I'm a bit confused on why you made this...
If you don't want to mob up then don't play the game in my opinion... -
You don't have to mob up Vadan..

Dang, your pretty good at mobbing up!!!
-
I think it is your choice to mob up or not. Just don't get mad if someone your same lvl has 10x your mob and is hitting you
-
WTH happened? Last I saw, you had under 500 mob and said you had 300 something invites. That was only 2-3 days ago.
-
He only had 15 mob the other day and now he's over 4k.

The only reason to mob is to protect your turf. Big mob = big turf. Little mob = little turf.

A game is dictated by the rules. If there is no rule against it then it is fair game although it would suggest some of the fundamentals are flawed if players who put in very little effort can have such a large impact.
Obviously v reset and a small player alone won't win a war alone but it could definitely be improved although I dot have the answer 👍

I've given up punching codes. I play games for fun, and punching isn't fun at all. Also, I'm not going to shell out a ton of cash for an iPhone game. My area is calm enough to where I don't really have to worry about getting capped out. At least for now. I just avoid starting trouble.

Its all personal preference. To each his own.

That assumes that mobbing up is mandatory. We tell smaller players to "mob up" when they bitch and whine about getting capped, but the fact remains that it is ultimately down to personal choice how you play, how much you mob up, whether or not you choose to buy and spend Don Points etc.I'm a bit confused on why you made this...
If you don't want to mob up then don't play the game in my opinion...Vadan - I'm also confused. What's the problem?

See, my opinions get me in a hell of a lot of trouble, so i need to mob up before i get utterly destroyed. Simple as that.

Vadan's a trifle miffed that we took the wind out of his sails on his grand exploit plan.

I don't think you have to mob up. Nor do I think support necessarily cares in specific about how much mob you have. It's what you choose to do with how much mob you have (or don't have) an subsequent effects that may be an issue they'd step in on. But the TOS is purposefully comprehensive language-wise for a reason. It doesn't have to be as specific as you're expecting.

Mobbing up isn't mandatory. But if you can't defend it don't whine. High influence and low mob make an easy target. If you want the influence and in some cases capo titles then you need to mob up to defend. Generally I make it a suggestion first. But if some one us capping out newbies or have turf to spare and I want that capo I will take it.

*is capping

I thought the object of the game was to have fun.👍

Really Nick? So let me get this straight. After my reset, I decided I do not want to mob. So I played with low mob, this morning you suddenly decide that out the kindness of your heart you will give me 4k (four thousand) henchmen for FREE. No doubt, this is an effort to force me to mob when I don't want to.Vadan's a trifle miffed that we took the wind out of his sails on his grand exploit plan.
Hours later, you tell me the 4k henchmen are temporary and you will take them back when you feel necessary.
Then you tell me I'm violating TOS and exploiting the game rules, and that several players have complained about me?
What rules exactly Nick, please explain as I'm obviously too stupid to understand?
And you think this is reasonable behaviour?

ive been playing think just over two years and ive never punched codes, ive got £843m trying to reach a billion my own little target for playing TW

Even though i'm going to get banned for this, you have to know you're wrong. Vadan figured out a strategy, and followed through with it.Vadan's a trifle miffed that we took the wind out of his sails on his grand exploit plan.
I don't give a rats ass that thuggie was a punk and complained that Vadan was exploiting. Just because he found out a strategy that involved not mobbing up at all doesn't mean you can screw it up like this?! I know you're the owner of the game, but cmon!? Have some decency to see when one of your players is a genius...

If the rules do not stipulate this then it should be allowed.
Although a solution should probably be found.
The thing is if you keep cap range based on mob there is always going to be a point where it's exploited Its just finding where this is.
Maybe if small players need to expand more (I assume this is the idea of a greater cap range) then more turf should be given at the beginning to support an average size mob an to encourage more hopping/ mobility. Then make the cap range the same across the board or dependant on a number of factors that are not as easily defined.
Just a suggestion...........

No One should have to Mob Up to play the game. It's like doing lines at school. Tap Tap Tap, how is that a game. You should have weight classes like in boxing so people have a choice on how much they mob up.
