Kinda hard to define a bully on a free for all war game
A bully usually forgets it is just a game and harass people he knows that cant fight back for days on end to the point of making them want to delete the app -
With the word "bully" being thrown around again so much, I thought this was a good thread to bring back up. This was one of the threads that convinced me that bullies don't exist in TW. I was actually just telling this to a small player today who had posted in the V forum after losing 1 turf.

I've seen almost all large mobsters repeatedly accused of being bullies over the years.

Meh, there's always a range of noobs. There are nice noobs, noobs that want to learn, noobs that initially posture & then back down (and may become good players), noobs that think they know everything, noobs that are always hostile & act tough, noobs that are determined to be trolls no matter what, noobs that aren't really noobs but actually returned trolls/players with grudges, etc. There are always 2 sides to every story.

I agree so what about the side I've heard instead of everyone jumping to getchs defence?

I just brought this thread up because it seemed like a good time for it again - it was never intended to be solely about Getch. If Juve wants to be heard, then why doesn't he post? (His post in the V forum really doesn't explain anything.)

The main issue when most noobs cry about getting bullied is that they don't have perspective on the game. A single profile attack or turf capped may register as bullying to them. Which it clearly isn't.

Here is my take. Getch is a bully and then when he gets called out on it, he goes and hides in a hole. But right before he goes and hides, he cries to capo and they do more of his bullying. I think that is extremely cowardly, but I don't expect anything else from him or his crew.

I left this game about a year ago because it was no fun. Any time I would attack someone, they would get their feelings hurt and cry for help. Then, I'd get called out for being a jerk when in reality it's a game about taking turf, go read the description in the App Store.
I started playing clash of clans where I can attack people all day, every day and I don't know if anyone in my clan that ever complains about being attacked. Granted, it's purely random and no one person can be singled out, but it's enjoyable because there is no feeling of hesitation before attacking.
I'm back now and attacking everyone I can find. I choose people smaller than me because I couldn't possibly attack someone larger and hope to win. People can get upset, I don't care.
Am I a bully? By tw standards, probably because at some point someone decided this is a nice friendly game of help new people put dots on a map.

Are there bullies in this game? You bet. I ran into one once. I placed a turf in a town I was passing through and was informed I wasn't welcome by the capo. He caped me out of the town. He was dealt with and completely removed from the map. That's a bully.
Someone that takes a few turf from someone is not a de facto bully. Someone that takes a few turf from many people to gain control of an area is not a bully.
People have to realize they do not own the dots on a map and they can be taken at any time, by any body. The great part about the game is when one turf is lost, it can easily be replaced.

@mojopoilot, are you talking about profile attacks? Profile attacks don't make you a bully, lol.
Attacking/capping & helping a player aren't mutually exclusive either. I've helped players I've capped & capped players I've helped.
If a noob/small player calls you a jerk, just explain the game to him or direct him to someone that will. If he persists in calling you a jerk, just ignore him. If he still persists & escalates his insults, cap his turf until he stops or is out of turf. If the language is bad enough, report him to support.
