I'm flying out in 2 weeks on business and was wondering if there's any suggestions for what I can do there.
Nightlife, food etc etc. I'll have a car so don't mind travelling.
What you got to offer NYC?

Get a metro pass when there. The best way to travel is by subway and bus, it's pretty cheap.

Hookers and Crack

The last thing I would want in NYC is a car. It's more trouble than it's worth to try and find parking, waiting for the parking attendant, paying etc. You will be much happier of you ditch the vehicle.

Eat at Tek's.

If you're in NYC (manhattan area) most of the time then yeah try to use cabs or trains more. But if you go to Brooklyn, queens or surrounding areas then use a vehicle with a Better chance of finding parking.(kinda) get a pastrami from kats a cheese cake from juniors and a pretzel from a street vendor. Also go to Teks place.

New York style pizza. It's not as good as Chicago style, but you might as well try it. Also, check out the 9/11 memorial and the Statue of Liberty.

There's a lot to see outside the city also. An hour two north or south gets you oceans, mountains, country, other good sized cities, gambling, entertainment, etc. Just in case you want to get out of the city for a while.

Sooo jealous!y first time in NYC I was a cowgirl hat wearing jaw to the floor suburban texas girl in heaven. Spent no money. Passed around a 🚬👌💚 and a 🎸 in the square with all the homeless people and some not homeless, dancin. It was one of my best memories. However, the girl I was with is my ex now 😏

MacDougal St in the village for dinner, Bleeker to look around and snack, Frick Gallery for an easy but great classic Museum, Tkts in times sq for half price show tickets, metro pass, only way to get around, for a tourist thing I really like empire state as it is nearby and if weather is good the view is awesome. For a real life TW mob dinner (classy but watch what you say) Rossini's on 38th. What do you like - I've got more tips.

Lombardi's on spring street. Better sit down place
Sicilian pizza, or what we call "squares". L&B. in Brooklyn
Johns pizza on bleecker is over rated. There calzones are great though
Best old school Italian, il mulino
Best or what's hot now, Catch. Down in the meat packing district.
Steak, Peter lugers in Brooklyn, or mark Joseph's in manhattan

Niagra Falls. That's in Buffalo and is right on the border of US and Canada. That way you can say you went to 2 countries in the same day! Just bring $.50 to get back into the US.Sabasaul wrote:
