A good ol' Seabee saying "The Seabees are always happy to welcome the Marines!" cause they aren't always first to land

There nothing gay about serving on a sub, that's some creepy sh@t. I have no problem jumping out of an airplane but put me under water and I am a pussy. I just think it takes more guts to be in combat arms. Walking up mountains with 100lbs on your back in scorching hot weather or freezing cold and when you get shot at and see your friends blood everywhere still be able to maintain your composure enough to get the job done. I'm sorry but they don't make video games about the guy sitting behind the computer back on the air conditioned base or boat for a reason.
Yep and who is humping right there with you covering your ass when you get shot? -

It was spelled out. I see why you are a Marine or were which there is not a damn thing wrong with it but to insult the other branches as you have shows where your head is.Amish Hitman wrote:

Ripping on each other is a prime mission of all branches.
In fact, submarine culture demands constant ripping of all those around you while at ease.
We love our fellow service members. Shower techs, Surface pukes, grunts, fly-babies, puddle pirates.... All fine individuals.
But while I'm not busy fighting for them, I'm busy taping them to the overhead with EB green.
That's what siblings do.

Hence my ribbing because he was a Marine and my point flew over his jarhead.

Nobody says anyhthing about the coast guard.. My friends dad was part of their special ops team.. They are the coast guard ecuvilent to the navy seals.

ParascueThe marines covert group is called Recon or Force Recon. Also you guys left out the Green barets, which is the step above Army Ranger which is a step above Airborne. The Air Force has a special ops group that for the most part is used for going in and bringing out downed air crew. I can't remember what they're called but from the training I seen them doing, they are right up there with Army Ranger.

Nobody mentioned NOAA Corps. They wear Navy uniforms. It's the slide-rule brigade.

A saying around the corp,
Ain't
Ready
Marines
Yet.I don't know of anyone in any branch that dosent believe theirs is the best.
Just listen to the Marine song...

Also, you can't put a Regular Marine against a Navy Seal. The level of traing is way to different.
You'd want Elite vs Elite
Navy Seal vs MARSOC;)

Well I just finished reading this thread and it was fascinating.
I know absolutely nothing about the military except how grateful I am for your service and sacrifice.
Each and every one of you is bad ass! IRL!

LOL nothing funnier than Marines having this reputation for being baddass. I have 4 ex Marines in my unit and none of them can even pass a PT test. When I was at basic we had a Marine that just got out of the Corps and joined the Army, he could do a whole 22 pushups, lmao one day he fell down on the ground rolling around like he was having a heart attack, then got up and acted all fine again a few minutes later. He was chaptered out for failure to adapt. LOL MARINES!!!
It's also funny how so many of you think X is better than X, each SpecOps have different purposes. Marines can't even compare to Delta or SEALs as far as training goes.

As for the one with failure to adapt, we make no claims to that desk jockey. -
Delta is what Navy Seals and Army SF wants to be when they grow up. There's an interesting (and somewhat controversial book) called "Inside Delta Force" written by Eric Haney.

As for the one with failure to adapt, we make no claims to that desk jockey. They ETSed after serving their contracts and were tired of the Corps. You guys have the shittiest equipment in the military, you guys get all our old hammy downs. Your tanks used to be ours, your M4s SAWs and 240s used to be ours. I hear bitching about it all the time from you guys. But what do you expect, you guys are part of the Navy, hence the "Department of the Navy" on all the Marine Corps emblems. Sucks to share budget with the Navy! And he wasn't a desk jocky, he was Infantry.
3 of the guys in my unit are infantry and one is signal. LOL one walks around showing off his globe and anchor tattoos like he's a badass! LOL -
PattySmack wrote:
Spoken like a true ignorant asshole.I can also tell you that as a whole the Air Force are huge pussies. Not to say there aren't real badass Airmen out there. There are some pilots I owe a lot to. But as a whole, Airmen have no frigging clue what it's like to go through "the suck". At least those Navy guys put up with living on the sea for months on end. The Air Force pays their guys extra for having to live in "sub-standard" Army housing. Their aircraft always break down in Guam or Hawaii so they have to stay an extra few days on the government dime while it gets fixed. But they'll take the first ride out of Afghanistan they can get. Pussies.

I would have to disagree. USAF Pararescue are all out the best. And the air force flat out beats the infantry. No offense, but the boys in blue are generally some of the smarter guys. The seals are smart too. But anyhow, all of the branches are equal because all of them offer their services and their lives so that we can be free! We should be thanking those serving rather than polling whose better! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍 God Bless!Delta > Army SF > Seals > USMC = Airborne Infantry > Army infantry > Navy > Air Force
