✈SAN FRANCISCO BOUND✈

I have a three day conference in San Francisco later this week for work. I have never been there and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to any sights I must see while there. I'm not sure how much free time I will have but any help would be appreciated.
-
Man, too many suggestions. (I live here, by the way.) Do you want the tourist stuff or the real City stuff? You can always PM me too.
-
Height Ashbury is cool. There's a tranny gang there. There's some pier that's kinda neat too. Meh I'm not much help. I can't remember what I did in San Fran last time I went lol. I travel quite a bit, and the trips all kinda blend together... I did take a ghost tour when I was there. It was pretty neat.
-
Pier 39! It's awesome.(Bubba Gumps is my recommended restraunt) Also you could go over to AT&T park and walk around by mcovey cove.
-
There is no tranny gang, and Bubba Gumps is not the place to go...haha. C'mon, y'all are killing me. 😄
Tourist stuff: AT&T Park, Pier 39, Coit Tower, Chinatown, Pyramid Bldg, cable car ride, Embarcadero, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, Lombard St, Alamo Square Park, the Haight.

Alcatraz, forgot that one. The place is awesome.

There most certainly is a tranny gang. I wasn't trolling... I literally saw members of a tranny gang who were wearing dress, and devil horns. There is no tranny gang, and Bubba Gumps is not the place to go...haha. C'mon, y'all are killing me. 😄

I know you're not trolling, Green. I'm not mad! But I live walking distance to the Haight and have lived in SF my whole life, and while that area attracts a lot of crazies, including a tranny here and there, I've never seen or heard of a tranny gang in my life. 😄 Be a damn shame to get jumped by a bunch of trannies though!

Lived here almost my whole life and never been to Alcatraz...haha. I gotta go 1 day.

I was gonna say how has no one mentioned that. I'm a stoner so the Haight was awesome to me. Tons of history and hippie culture there. But Alcatraz was really cool. Crazy ass stuff went down there. I recommend the audio tour to anyone that goes.🔥Dφмιидтιφи🔥 wrote:

Listen to 41Fivin' - locals know best - I am wincing at this thread.... please do not go to the tacky tourist places. SF is a great place for a day trip - lots to see and experience - and a lot of hype to easily avoid . I go down 4-5 times a year and have lots of favorites - but it depends on what you like.

You should go to union square and just look, there are alot of restaurants and stores you can roam, easily accessible by B.A.R.T. And the cable car is right there if you decide to ride it

Some of the tacky tourist places are cool, though. I mean, what would a SF trip be w/o a cable car ride, Chinatown walk, or fresh crab at Fisherman's Wharf? Some tourist spots are popular for a reason. With that said, though, whenever I go somewhere, I like to see the real city/country/whatever as best I can, too. You'd wanna take poor Mason to the TL, wouldn't you? 😜

I fly out of DFW at 9:00 on Thursday. I was told that we are staying at the Marriott on the Square. Does that sound right? There will be about 15 of us but most of my faculty is flying out Wednesday.

Too bad on timing. I went to the ballpark, caught a game. Amazing place! Had a great time just exploring, popping into bars/eateries as they were discovered. The touristy places were fun. But I like meeting people and getting a feeling for the area. Hope you have as much fun as I did. ✈🚌🎉⚾🎷🍺🍴🐠💃🎶✈

Just received an email from my principal. We are staying at the Stanford Court Renaissance San Francisco Hotel near Nob Hill. I don't know what a Nob Hill is or a tranny gang but it sounds like I should be a little concerned.

nice hotel, good location.. you'll also be right near Chinatown: definitely worth a walk through! where's your conference?

That's on the same block, I think... lots pricier. Too bad you're not at the Moscone Center, you could've caught the early show at AsiaSF ... lol

I have a dumb question. Is it possible to put down turf while in flight if the plane has wifi?
-
I spent an afternoon in San Francisco between flights. We went and looked at some big bridge, I forget the name of it. Then we went to a pier and ate while watching seals swim around. I ate a whole loaf of bread and got constipated for a week. My San Francisco adventure, hope yours is better.
