I really don't see the link between religion and abortion. Secular governments out-law murder. That's the debate... When do we cross the magic line between medical procedure and murder?
We obviously can give the mother some say in the matter, but there will always be some whack-job that says it's okay to abort their 3-year-old.
So.... The law MUST draw a codified and firm line.
The laws are written. Debate over! Whew! That's a relief.

Actually a fair point, if someone is raped they can get a free pill if they report the assailant, actually maybe the company that makes the pill could be bought by a world wide fund to reduce abortions altogether. The pill is my line on this matter... Also the heart does not form for 4/5 weeks... And B, if pregnancy is dangerous, smoking is suicide.... Also i think pregancy was dangerous in the 1800's but not now...

A brilliant engineer is working on a project to help humanity tremendously. One night , on the way back to her car, he is grabbed and raped by an evil man. She gets pregnant and finds out she will die if she has the baby. The baby will go to a orphanage with downs syndrome and have a horrible life for 12 years, living on the streets. None of his family wants to take care of him, nobody wants to adopt him. Would YOU do this to someone?Oh and I forgt, he dies of starvation at age 12.

Okay everyone, here's an idea. What if significant other was raped and became pregnant. Would you want her to give birth to another mans child like that? And please dont say you would give it up for adoption because
1) You're still letting the significant other give birth to a rapists child
2) That child would go through hell in the adoption programs and all that.Really, how can you be so heartless.
