Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?
Forums › General Discussion › Pro-Life or Pro-Choice?-
Ethical behavior is something that I believe should be governed by society. Abortion sounds all well and good at the time but I have counciled young ladies years after the fact who still are tormented by their decision. In cases of rape, incest or where extreme physical damage is inevitable, I agree that it should be the choice of the mother. In all other cases I am whole heartedly against abortion as an escape. 👊🔨💀

Exactly Nate. 👊🔨💀

Making abortion illegal is an excellent deterent for abortion. That alone will not be enough which is why it has to be coupled with sound teaching on adequate protection and also abstinence as a choice. 👊🔨💀

I really don't think reverting to backroom coat hanger clinics and women drinking Lysol is the solution.
for the woman, it's much less emotionally devastating to say, take a pill and understand the gravity of their mistakes, then carry a baby to term only to hand it over to strangers.
kids are being snatched out of their homelands all the time, being raised with white identities to fill some void their rich parents believed would be filled by buying a child.
kids are kids. they are irresponsible by nature and love their genitals. they will always make accidents.
-
I think people should have to apply to have children...
Background check, IQ test, ethical evaluation, health evaluation, etc.
Can I have kids? No, you're too damn dumb. Next.
Can I have kids? No, you're an ignorant ass. Next.
Can I have kids? No, you have a shitty outlook on life. Next. -
I envy rodents in their ability to abort themselves if the situation is undesireable. through re-absorbtion or by removing their unborn fetuses and eating them.

Mamatek, kids are irresponsible by nature but alot of that irresponsibility is due to the fact that society (ultimately the parents job) is doing a very poor job of preparing young people for the complexities of sex. Abortion is just one of the negatives of having irresponsible sex. There are a lot of other devastating effects as well. Young women have a hard enough time dealing with their bodies changing without having the emotional duress of dealing with a failed relationship after having sex. Killing babies is not the answer to any of these stated issues. Knowledge, compassion and a willingness to get involved is. 👊🔨💀

Pro-choice, but I don't know where to draw the line as to how old the foetus can be allowed to grow
-
I've always been pro-choice all the way. I was kind of young & not 100% ready for the responsibility when i had my son & if I were to get pregnant again anytime soon, I know I couldn't handle the financial burden. I think the choice should always be there for a woman to make that decision with her body, however it'd probably be a choice I couldn't make for myself anymore after having a child, especially one as loving, funny, smart and beautiful as my son. Even though having him has turned my life upside down and made many opportunities out of reach, he's brought so much love and joy to my life (as cheesy as that sounds).

natedogg remembers when his body changed into a woman, clearly.
how were those tender breastbuds?
I think late term abortions sound pretty gnarly. but when you're talking about an induced miscarriage of a cluster of cells all the power to you.
and scroob, for how long have chicks from your country had to slip off to London to get shit done. lack of availability, even in a catholic country, doesn't mean it's not gonna happen. I did notice though, the much larger numbers of mentally disabled people. not that knowing your child could have a disability should mean they have one, but amniocentesis and preventative imaging allows families to have options, should they not have the strength and courage to raise a disabled child.
-
Haha. Now that you mention it, my nipples are tender right now. I guess the main issue is ones opinion of the sanctity of life and what defines a baby. This is a very passionate topic with some very real problems. The solution is bigger than just a simple choice.👊🔨💀

SO how I feel. But since that's not the case and there will always be stupid, ignorant & irresponsible people in this world, I'll remain pro-choice.I think people should have to apply to have children...

& Nate, I do agree with some of the things you're sayingheIr seems the family unit isn't what it used to be & kids are given a LOT of freedom these days. When I was a teenager, obviously I loved how lenient my mom was and how I could do damn near whatever I wanted. But now when my mom calls from Texas & tells me about the murder she and my stepdad let my 16 year old brother get away with, I'm astonished. Girls spending the night, he and his friends watching porn & drinking in his room, catching some girl flashing the guys by the pool...it's ridiculous.

yo bella, can I be your kid bro? sounds nice.

I'm not being a raging feminist here but I really think vasectomies should be more available and affordable. why should I have to risk cancer, popping hormone tablets or deal with how shitty condoms feel (and it also sucks to give head even after it's off, and that's a pretty foolproof way to finish if avoiding pregnancy.) but vasectomies are easy and reversable and much nicer. they should offer them at planned parenthood. they should also teach more encouraging anal sex.

So mama when did u grow balls so they could get cut? Same time Nate grew breasts?
-
Pro life with stipulations that if raped or of the health of mother or child in danger they can pursue an abortion. However those situations are so few. I don't agree with pro choice because,my belief, mothers had choice to Not have sex. So the idea of mothers not having a choice is bogus. At some point people have to be held accountable for their decisions, like to have sex. I compromise in agreeing for abortion in above listed criteria.

So, Pro-Choice people, at what age do you draw the line? After how many weeks is it unnacceptable? I'd appreciate your opinions because I myself am unsure about this

Some people don't even believe in souls according to some of the previous threads

i think the point in which a fetus is viable outside the body is where it becomes questionable. maybe around 22 weeks. just as it takes modern medicine to sustain life that early, I do believe late term abortions should only be performed for medical reasons.
that being said, most chicks I know made up their minds either way the moment their bodies startturning on them.

and those that believe women shouldn't even have the right to choose should be attacked.
and for the most part I don't believe in adoption.

I've always been on the fence about this, this subject is too touchy.

They aren't mutually exclusive.
When does life even begin? That should be the first question. Is abortion even ending a life?
Most abortions are done before the fetus has matured to being alive in a way that is meaningful.
The debate really started when a pope said life began at consception. Even at the time there was controversy because there is no biblical basis for that claim. But as time passed it became dogma.
Now even non-chatholics don't really question it. Because of these the real issues are neglected.
Abortions today are 99% just inducing menstration. No surgical procedures are even involved. Frankly this is mostly an issue for people who want to stop womens sexual liberation.

And that was a great fallacy on the part of the pope.
Following that reasoning is to assume that man and woman have the power of God to create life. If life begins at conception, then there is no life before conception, making life man-made.
Egg and sperm are both living cells already, and that life is not dependent of to the other.
And as Nixon's statement implies, menstruation itself is abortion.
