I ment bugging her as in annoying her. The swagger thing was a joke there is no reason to keep hitting my turf. I've spoken with swagger he gets it it was a joke jeez

I'll delete this. I guys want me to delete this? Is this getting out of hand? I don't mind. I got a lot of good answers. I think I was just starting to get discouraged. Like why should noobs even bother trying to enjoy it. But there are a lot of good people in this game. It's true, vets are ppl too. Sometimes they as well run out of patience just like a noob will run out of options.
-
a thicker skin might serve you well in a game like this. pvp war games don't tend to attrack a player base that coddles noobs very much. most of the vets are quite good to noobs imho. that said, if sarcasm bothers you here or in life, i'm not sure what advice to give you other than avoid those people or toughen up a tad.
-
Well I am always happy to help anyone . Don't be upset if I miss ur question though as sometimes am a bit busy with the thousands of attacks a day but I'll try my best .

That 👆👆👆👆 and some of them just do not see the humor in the game.....Honestly, sometimes it is just hard to answer the same question for the hundredth time when the answer is in the forum as well but the noob doesn't want to look for it themselves. Or getting hit by the level 3 with 14 mob for the thirtieth time in two days with a horse head that he has no clue what it's for but it looks shiny and fun. Understand that a vet is no different from a noob, but with the flood of the last year under our collective belts the rookie mistakes happen dozens of times more than they used to. It's hard to have patience and understanding 24/7.

Nope. Google it. No need to post a definition here.-In america buggering might be confused with bugging, or annoying someone.
-in the UK buggering means to cane someone in a sexual manner, if I'm not mistaken? Any Brits verify? I am under the impression it means slapping a cane against someones ass.grays, you know what s & m means now!!!!! Lol

Flood? A one time peak? Or do new people come in waves?
It used to be in fairly predictable waves but seeing as how we are in month 3 of the great flood of Nov. 2011 I think we are seeing a steady stream of new players. Great for Nick, MeanFreePath and the dev team, a little rougher for the steady code punchers and vets trying to field and answer questions and help our new victims... Er, I mean new friends and fellow players.

For a lot of them this is all they have.

I am always friendly and willing
To help newbies, I don't know
If I'm a vet though...I guess I am, but sometimes i even get alittle short on the forums, and what you must understand is for people that have been on this game for over a year we have seen the same questions, the same problems and seen too many people ignore our advice that can you blame some people for getting alittle irritated? People have taken time out of there lives to write guides and tutorials for newbies only to have their hard work blatantly ignored because people don't take the time to read. -

Meh I dunno I define vet as someone who's been around longer than a year, but I know that's not a common belief :) one day I'll be a vet :pThepyroarcher🍀 wrote:

My definition of a vet is someone who's been around but has also had experience, has war'd, punched codes, hopped etc..... If you've just been around for a long time and done nothing your not a vet..... You may be an OG but you're no vet...
-
So there you go pryo, you're a Vet....
-
I like that definition of a vet :D and yaay I am one :) I've never been a vet before :) it's sad how happy I actually am lol...I'm such a geek lol!

Are you kidding? I've been playing a week and I've only received help, interesting conversations and some laughs. I think it's not about how long youve been playing but what you say and do

I ain't a vet, but I've been around long enough to watch noobs rise, and fall, within the space of an hour, for being sarcastic, rude, and mean.
Noobs get attacked, and if they can't handle the war game, then the sissies quit. If they can, they go on to become vets and attack some noobs of their own. It's a cycle.. Kind of a circle of life thing. -

Well since your poem seems to go to a tune you may want to reconsider being a bard, and trade it for a minstrel.₲rээƞℳɑƞ×℘ӈìℓɛ wrote:

Hahahaha. Ok I'm leaving it long enough for a few more people to appreciate that. And then I will.

I think you should leave it. There are some good (& long) responses & it'll suck to reanswer this the next time it comes up.
