Why are some vets so sarcastic rude and mean?

I think most of the vets are pretty nice. To me at least. Maybe your a dick to them so they return the favor?

Have you checked with Mystery if she is OK with you "buggering" her? I did not know she was a tad.....unconventional! Does her hubby know about this predeliction for back door entry? Inquiring minds want to know. 😃😉 -
I might consider buggering Ashley, if she pulled me over in a deserted area........😃

Honestly, sometimes it is just hard to answer the same question for the hundredth time when the answer is in the forum as well but the noob doesn't want to look for it themselves. Or getting hit by the level 3 with 14 mob for the thirtieth time in two days with a horse head that he has no clue what it's for but it looks shiny and fun. Understand that a vet is no different from a noob, but with the flood of the last year under our collective belts the rookie mistakes happen dozens of times more than they used to. It's hard to have patience and understanding 24/7.

Ask OTB or me for help OTB is really nice

Flood? A one time peak? Or do new people come in waves?

About 4-5 months back there weren't nearly as many new players as there is now. You were lucky to get 1000 mob every 1-2 months sometimes.🔥⌖ Viper ⌖🔥 wrote:

-In america buggering might be confused with bugging, or annoying someone.
-in the UK buggering means to cane someone in a sexual manner, if I'm not mistaken? Any Brits verify? I am under the impression it means slapping a cane against someones ass. -

It is entirely possible that vets are just as human as noobs at times and our attack buttons just as shiny and appealing as others' seem to be at a moment's notice. Though I've never capped anyone for a random noob attack/action unless it was very extreme--the thought has crossed my mind...and I thought better.
As for sarcasm? Well, that I was born with. Third chromosome to the right and straight on 'til morning. ✨✨🌟

And I agree with everything in Viper and Ultra's post. We are human too and we become annoyed and sarcastic at times because we see the same noobs questions/actions frequently. Doesn't make it right. We should be kind and forgiving but if u catch us on a bad day, we may not be.

What a wank stain you are son.I mean doesn't anyone ever being new at anythig ever? Sometimes comments are just unecesary. But noobs get verbally beat down and virtually beat down for making mistakes.

I got jaded, and a bit mean over time. Somedays I would turn on TW to find that a noob had attacked a bunch of my turfs.... All day. About 150 times. When I told him that was frowned upon I didn't get the reply I expected. I got another day or two of attacks. Just because he didn't read.
Or twice just this week I lost two of my four oldest capos. I know some of you think capos are lame, but I don't really get into wars often since I usually have friends on boths sides, and collecting capos is something to do for me. I had held them for around a year. Just poof! Then I was told sorry about that capo! I just wanted it! Please don't get mad!... I lost two of my oldest capos to a couple players with under 400 mob...
-
Or I would help a local smaller mobbed guy with a problem. Then another problem... Then another... Then it turns into helping 10 local lowbies with EVERYTHING. Then some of them continue to try to be sneaky and tax me. I mean its like everyday...

I'd love to be a vet but I don't like sick animals. They make me sads. 😰

Most of you very helpful. I really was just curious. I got most of the answers I suspected. All the main huge players like mystery and belial (who of course I got into it my first week lol)
-
And usually the lowbie or noob asking for help doesn't realize I'm already trying to help several other noobs. Like right now I have five different situations people have asked help for in my area. That just from this morning. I've been invited or asked to join two vendettas. This is after I tried to talk the players into using diplomacy.
Not to mention the fact that I was being capped every 6 hours or so for the last few days because some guy thought I was capping random players in st.paul just because my influence increased drastically. It never crossed his mind to consider the fact that the turfs that had someone elses name on them were those belonging to swagger and I had capped them when he had his giveaway, or the fact that my influence had increased dramatically because I BUILT the turfs myself, and hadn't capped anyone... Then when I explain this to him he just replies "nah, it's cool". Not even a fricken apology.

I surely did not mean to stir. I'm def done stirring for a while. I've learne a lottttt about tw these last few weeks.

Its days like this that make me sarcastic and rude sometimes. Terribly sorry if you can't seem to get over that.
-
On a side note, I apologize for my grammer error back there.
Raikou, I've been seeing you around the forum, and you seem to be very bitter against vets. What I don't understand is why. The people we know as vets earn that title, and not just because of a huge mob. They've earned our repect through their personality and their helpfulness towards noobs like me. Still, just because they help people doesn't mean that they're always right no matter what happens. When it comes to cases with small time players like us, they're not the ones in the wrong. We tell these noobs to mob up and tell them to read the top sticky. It isn't the vets fault they don't do that.
