You could always watch something like The Sound Of Music. If it isn't boring enough to put you to sleep it's awful enough that you'd want to hit yourself over the head with a hammer.
I will pre-apologize to those that enjoy it. My mother loves that movie and I had the misfortune of her playing it several times a week while I was a kid. How many times can I reasonably be expected to hear that and not go a little postal?

Getting worried suspect Trojan bun action, - go into bedroom - Mr Big Cat you there? - a pin is heard to drop, look under bed, just dust bunnies - look in wardrobe, one cat suit and a pair of novelty pyjamas, maybe he's having a sleepover at Randomblokes, ah that could be it! - walks away head down feeling dejected and lonely :-(
