This forum is for offering or finding help for vendettas. If you don't know what a vendetta is, please go to your home screen, click on get help, then click on the button under vendettas. There are also several threads explaining them in the help forum. This is not the place to ask what a vendetta is. *Note: you cannot join a vendetta until you are level 25.
Please post the following information when requesting help for a vendetta:
1) Your location
2) Your target
3) Summary of the problem
4) Stats for you & your enemy (mob & gear) - make sure your mob is properly equippedPlease do NOT
- Post your invite code here.
- Create multiple threads about the same thing, bump the old one or delete it & create a new one.
- Offer to help if you are not at least level 25.
- Have lengthy arguments; that's what pm's are for.Always try to use correct spelling & punctuation.

Don't start vendettas when you don't know what they are or when you don't have a target in mind. Vendettas are not clubs or alliances. They are for going to war against 1-4 specific people. They only last 1 week. Only 3 people (not including you) can join your vendetta. For someone to join your vendetta, you must send them an invite first.
Many people will not accept an invite to a V without a target. The best thing to do is pm people before creating a V. Tell them who you are targeting & why. Ask if they will help you. If you get enough people to agree, then create a V, with a target, & send invites to the people that agreed to help. Don't send invites to random people you've never spoken with or to people that are too far away to help.
For a vendetta to work for attacking, it doesn't help until 24 hours after you have targeted the player - not 24 hours after you created a vendetta with no target. For defense, a vendetta helps as soon as you target the player. A vendetta without a target will not help.

This is a fighting game. Attacking you & not your turf is no reason to start a vendetta, unless the attacks are excessive. (While excessive is a matter of opinion, I'd say less than 50 at one time is not cause for a vendetta.)
**Mob is just a number, not an alliance; it doesn't matter if you attack mob members! It's the size of your mob & how they are equipped that matters. Level, influence, experience, etc. do not affect your attack & defense.
Mob up! If you punch codes, you should easily be able to get 1,000 new mob members every 2 weeks. It should be even faster if your mob is under 5,000. If you don't like to punch codes or are unwilling to, then accept the fact that you will be capped often. No one wants to keep coming to the aid of someone who won't punch codes. A vendetta should never take the place of mobbing up.

To clarify, for the most part level does not affect your attack & defense. However, as The Filling mentioned, different weapons & armor unlock at different levels.

Please learn the difference between vendettas & alliances before creating either. In your thread, state if you are recruiting for a vendetta or an alliance - they are NOT the same thing!

Please read the "How to arm your mob" thread in the help forum, written by Belial.

Instead of asking where people are, take a look at their profile. (For example if someone is in the UK & you are in Australia, then you are too far away to help.) If they have turf in multiple states or countries & it's not obvious where the fighting is, then it makes sense to ask.

Effective September 9th at 12pm EDT (1600 GMT), the capture distance of your turf will be based on the greater of your mob and the average mob of all the players in your vendetta, instead of just your own mob. For example, if you have a mob of 2000, and are a member of a vendetta with 2 other players of mobs 3000 & 4000, the combat system will now use the average value of 3000 (instead of 2000) mob for determining your turfs’ minimum capture distance when they are attacked. Your friend with 4000 mob would be unaffected, since their mob is greater than the vendetta’s average of 3000. This will also be reflected on the capture checklist on your turfs’ detail screens.
This rule only applies when your vendetta is used defensively – no other changes are being made to the combat system at this time. -nick

Slightly important: if a person is attacking you, try to negotiate. If that doesn't work an you come here, I suggest you don't cuss out the people who are likely to investigate. That only makes things a LOT worse.
