Vendettas 101

Vendettas are a way to combine mob of multiple players when attacking and defending. They also have tactical limitations to keep things in balance. One limitation is that when you attack or are attacked your friends helath goes down. If it goes to zero they won't function in the v. So when attacking make sure at least one team member is on to heal. Friends will also need to heal when you are attacked or you will become vulnerable. The other limitation is that your friends stamina goes down when you attack but they will still contribute when they run out

Another thing you need to know is that the players you invite need to be within your attack range. To find out go to their profile. If it doesn't say ❎-you and your turf are too far away. Then they are in range and you can invite them.
-
Another thing to add: when in a v, anyone else who is not part of the v (target or member) can still attack you and you can only defend using (correct me if I'm wrong) 60% of your defense, giving a huge disadvantage.

thank you. I thought I put that in there. I'll do rewrite laterAnother thing to add: when in a v, anyone else who is not part of the v (target or member) can still attack you and you can only defend using (correct me if I'm wrong) 60% of your defense, giving a huge disadvantage.

Also remember that vendettas agitate the target player, which could make him/her want to cap more. Try to only use them as a last resort or you could make it worse in the long run

I am in a v at the moment. Its 3 v 3. When they attack my turf only I defend is this correct? Seems odd

No, the combined forces of your V defend PROVIDED their Health is full. They need to be on and healing as necessary so their resources are being utilized.I am in a v at the moment. Its 3 v 3. When they attack my turf only I defend is this correct? Seems odd

What happens after a v. Do they not just attack you afterwards, or get someone else to attack when are weak (40%?). Anyone done a v and wished they hadn't,,,?
-
Well it depends on what the other person does. If they get mad, like my target did, they will cap a lot of your turfs.
-
So was the net effect that were better or worse off. You get cash from the vendetta but lose turf after - was it worth it...?
-
Another big thing. A V CANNOT cap the target's turf. They can ONLY destroy it and sell off te upgrades
-
Can't help thinking that they are not that good a thing then. Given you can't do another one for 30 days etc etc then I can't see how you are better off...
-
Is there a cooldown period before you can create / join another v?

No one of the key vendetta rules is that after the first 24 hours, you attack to destroy turfs, not to capture turfs.VinnyF wrote:

So I can't use a V to cap turfs back from a bigger player that took them from me in the first place?
Can anyone confirm this? Why else would you want a V? -
When does the v start. Is it 24hrs after the 1st member joins ??. Right now I am attacking with one other member who ha just joined but the turf only gets knocked out of commission not destroyed
-
The 7 day timer starts as soon as you declare the V. There is a 24 hour waiting period before turf can be destroyed, and that starts when you select the target. And each target will get it's own 24 hour "safe" period.
But this only applies to turf. You will have the whole V support if you attack just the targeted player, or you (not your turf) are attacked by your target.
-
So this is odd
I created the v and waited 24hrs then attacked the turf which only gets knocked out of commission and not destroyed. I then thought the v would not work as I was the only member. I now have someone in my v but still the same. The turf is not destroyed -
Look at the checklist. Same rules apply as for capture.

I only saw this mentioned once here, and briefly. Once you start/join a vendetta you can't start/join another one for 30 days? Is this true? If so, does the 30 day limit start from the creation of a vendetta or the end of a vendetta? Thanks.

Are you sure on the targeting? I know you can't invite the same people, but I think you can re-target the same people.

I have invited a person to my v. He declined at first. Then he changed his mind. How do i invite him again
-
You can not invite the same person again for 30 days. Even if they did decline.

I don't think that's true. I screwed up with Rick once and declined and he was able to reinvite me. I think it's only if they accept. Lets test laterYou can not invite the same person again for 30 days. Even if they did decline.

Hey how do u stop an invite when u want a stronger person for ur v. instead of the weaker one and how do u delete the invites that u accidentally sent to out of range people❔
-
You can't.
-
But you can pm them and ask them to decline the invite. Or ask them to leave vendetta.

Can you add new targets to a Vendetta once it's been started?
-
You can add at any time. The 24 hour rule will still apply to all new targets.
