Capo Benefits?
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Capo Benefits?-
I know that capo does not have to worry about police protection. Has it ever been suggested that the capo receive a percentage of all turf income from their town. Even if it were only 1% or .5%. Basically, the more turf in that particular town, the more income that is created. If the capo received just a small cut of the net income from all turf, it would be one more benefit to being capo.

Suggested many times in different ways. I've previously suggested a new stronghold loot that only capos can use although never managed to get it balanced.
Capo does need a new benefit to keep them competitive.
-
Personally, I have given up a few capos because it is easier to pay for protection than to go to war.

Well, that's 1 of the competitive sides to capo. I'd u wanna keep it u gotta defend it. Personally, I'd like to see more fights and Vs for capo. It's all become to pussy foot now creeping around capos so u don't upset a bigger player. I say screw that, v them and take it.Personally, I have given up a few capos because it is easier to pay for protection than to go to war.

What do you really gain? It basically comes down to bragging rights. As far as I can tell, it does not really advance you in the game. Now if the capo gained 10% turf strength in defense for the town that they are capo of, I would fight for that.

Ya that's been suggested before the problem with that when of the really big players take a capo it becomes even harder to take capo from themWhat do you really gain? Or back from them

It just seems to me that more could come out of simply having a title an police protection. I don't know if there is an answer.
-
What about for those who are capo, other players turf will not tax them. Not only would you have police protection but you would not get taxed as well.
-
Whatever idea is picked is ok with me, I would like to see capo get some special something that makes it more competitive. Think of swagger... He would be occuied for a month trying to figure out what to do with his new found perks with all those capos. Maybe you need to have 100 capos to get the perks...

All these ideas have already been discussed at length in other threads, one of which I just moved back to the first page yesterday.

But say youre a capo of a state or province. Would you get 1% of all the income in that state? Or just the people in the "rural areas" of that state/province? I'm surrpised no one has actually asked this question yet.

It would only be the rural areas because that's all you are capo of. Although that doesn't really make a lot of sense because they tend to be in random, spread out locations. But say youre a capo of a state or province. Would you get 1% of all the income in that state? Or capos along with police protection can get like a 5percent protection bonus on any turf in that city from incoming attacks

No way. 5% defense bonus is a lot. IMO capo needs to stay the way it is. Although new elements would be nice just about any idea is too much.Or capos along with police protection can get like a 5percent protection bonus on any turf in that city from incoming attacks

Love the idea. Capos should have an advantage and we would see more fights :-)

I'm paying a fair amount of protection money, my gain would be someone else's loss.

The capos of large cities tend to have a pretty decent income anyway. Do you want to give them more money?

Sure, why not. However at what point does money in this game become irrelevant? 1 billion dollars? 10 billion dollars? I see this having no real effect on the bigger guys but more so on those that are fighting to increase income and capo status. If players who become capo cannot have their turf taxed in the area that they are capo of, players will fight harder to keep capo. Even if it is the bigger guys. Right now, it is essentially a status symbol.😺Swagger😉 wrote:

It sounds like it might affect a lot of people though. Swagger said a lot are collecting protection of him. Assuming he doesn't mind or isn't working to stop it, you will be affecting other (possibly smaller) players' incomes.Mystery wrote:

I'd say that money becoming irrelevant depends on the player & the current state of the player. If a player had a lot of money saved up, but then fought a very long war, money might have gone from being irrelevant to extremely important.

I make that much, that I don't mind leaches. It helps the little guys😺

Being Capo should let you randomly tap on peoples turf and destroy their upgrades, steal their money and loot, and best of all Rename their areas opponents turfs to whatever they see fit! That would be awesome!
-
Or at the very least, how bout letting Capos Rename all their capped turf without the need for Title Deeds? How many Hops and Movins do there need to be in the world? You could rename that crap and flaunt your capodome that way.
