You can already car bomb, attack, & cap them. No one else should ever be allowed to rename a turf you still own.Being Capo should let you randomly tap on peoples turf and destroy their upgrades, steal their money and loot, and best of all Rename their areas opponents turfs to whatever they see fit! That would be awesome!

Capos Changing names?!?
How is that not the best idea ever?
I would never have a turf named "Add 🔥ARF🔥" again! -
This whole conversation is moot! I am capo of 23 cities in Colorado. (22 at the moment, I plan to fix that after I post this.) I get NOTHING for it. That's right, NOT ONE THING. I still have to pay for Police Protection or use a Consigliere every single week, even though EVERY last city that I'm in I'm a Capo. I do not own turf in a city that I'm not Capo of (save for one now thanks to a newbie, but I'll fix that soon). I get ZERO money for this. I get ZERO police protection for this.
Also, according to Top Mobsters, I have more influence and own more square miles of land than anybody else in Colorado. The only category folks seem to have me beat in would be money in the bank. I'm at $20 Billion, and the top guys are nearing the $100 Billion mark. Other than that, though, I'm the BIG DICK around here....and I get....well, DICK for it!
Think the game is glitches in Colorado or something?

The big dick.....? You aren't even on the leader board in Colorado that matters, mob.

Dude, that's my point, duh! According to Top Mobsters, I am #1 I have more influence than anyone else in the state @ 26,369. The next highest is Gunn, @22,252 influence. The next guy behind him is David Kruegar @ 15,243.
So my point, guy, was that I know I'm not "on" the leaderboard. That is a glitch. I have more area, and more influence, than anyone else in the entire state. If that's not actually true, then the game is reporting incorrectly. That was my point, dude. Or did you stop processing when you read the word "dick?"

If it's not working right, I'd message feedback mate you should get free police protection as capo

Sounds like a plan. Thanks!

I guess my response strayed a little. I know that my mob is smaller than others in the state, and that's whyI'm not on the Mob leaderboard. But Capo is not based on your mob size. It's based on your influence. I should, by that logic, be Capo of this state. That was my original point.

According to the leader boards you have the most influence and area in Colorado.
But you can't be capo of Colorado, just the cities and areas within Colorado.

Thanks, good info. I read some conversations in the forum about State Capos, and wasn't sure if they were real or not. Now I know that my leaderboard status is showing the same for myself and for others. And, I know that there are no such things as State Capos. Thank you for that! =-) Still dont' know why I have to pay for police protection, but I've followed krissharm's advice and messaged Feedback.
Thanks folks!

As for paying police bribes are you 100% sure that before you use a consigliere or paying for don protection that they werent being paid?
Remember being capo doesnt stop you being busted, so the option to buy protection remains if players want (or need) that extra security.
-
If free "police protection" doesn't stop you from getting busted, then it's a farce! The only the the police can do to me at all is bust me, so failing to prevent that makes this "protection" useless. Correct me if I'm wrong, but protection is only paid to other players. But since I'm capo of all these cities, I should be getting protection money from other players, which I am. So wait, ultimately, this "benefit" only impacts my overall revenue stream? Would it be smaller if I weren't Capo?
-
See, I'm totally confused now. When you PAY for police protection, you're bribing the cops not to bust you. They actually stop busting you for a week. But when you get police protection as a Capo, this isn't the case. Seems like a programming oversight more than a planned part of the game, if you ask me. Do you disagree?

I'v read som really gud ideas n these posts. Som r so complic8d that they wud require gov intervention while othrs r simple no brainrs that cud b implemntd instantly. But @ the end o' the day nun (VERY few) of them r used!!! Dont get it twistd, I like this game, but I feel we'r being short-changed. Period.

Capo saves you from police bribes only.
To prevent being busted use a consigliere or turf points (5 for a week, which you get from watching a video).
To prevent paying protection (to other players) raise your turf influence to the same value or more of those who are taking the cash. Or cap their turf or move your own.
Capo titles are mainly for bragging rights as give them too much in the way of bonuses would be game breaking.
