⚠turf bridge⚠

all right after turf hopping for a while and noticing different thing i just though it would b a good idea to have turf bridges. turf bridges would be kinda like a line u could buy from the don or loot. what they do is act like a additional road u could put down. you would want to put these in areas like mountains or desserts where its hard to turf hop due to the lack of roads. you could attach the turf bridge to the two ends of the roads to make it cross able. ik you may be thinking y not put a police map on it. well ig u can but sometimes its not worth it and you cant buy one. also u may ask why not find a road and ride it where you need it to be. sometimes its just not worth going miles and miles around when all you need is a little gap between two points. also they could also be used to get into a lake or a ocean if you wanted.
-
if these did come to be around though they would only work for the player that deploid them. i certainly could have used them needing to hop though mountains.🗻 then you think there are also desserts and lakes you could cross using the turf bridge, such as massive lakes like the great lakes and maybe up in canada and green land where the playable area starts to break apart( and down near south america and antartica).
-
also if i forgot to mention the turf bridge isnt like a police map. you actually have to cross the the turf bridge where on a police map you plant one turf and your already so far. so in a way using a turf bridge is still working and hopping not just in one turf though
-
Ah. But when you lay this bridge everyone would have to be able to use it. Therefore soon enough every square inch of the map would have a road on it.
-
no i tried to say in the last part the person who laid it down would be the only person that could use it.
-
It would only be able to go for a certain distance. And it would have to self destruct after a certain amount of time.
-
yeah once youve got passed it. and determining how long it is. or probably like 1 hour destruction time?

or if nick would think its unfair thn it could be used publicly. im just trying to bring the idea forward you guys can say what could happen with it.

Grand theft auto: turf wars
That would be sweet. -

i honestly think this is a really good idea

While it would be a useful tool.

true while i was in the smokies i kept hitting dead ends and if its like that there think of desserts lakes many other mountains. i garantue ( sorry for the mispelling) if you ask almost every big time / older player and even new ones, they would have said this could have been used and helped alot.
-
It's a good idea but ppl are going to use it to hop to islands or even the north or south pole
-
☝☝☝☝ why shouldnt the it would expand the tw map.
-
Cuz there's no actual streets to plant on. The geocoder doesn't recognize alot of freeways and highways in the mountains but this loot would be able to fix that. To use this loot to plant in areas without roads at all would be a huge negative towards the game because not only would it open up the entire ocean to hop on (again) but it would also lessen any wars that are going on as well as start new ones in the middle of the ocean or somewhere like north Korea. Besides Nick took off water turfs for a reason n that's cause you don't see the mafia making ware houses in the middle of the ocean or in the north and south pole
-
ya but they would be a price (don points or maybe a rare loot). and not for very long lenghts. also if it was manditory they could make a rule like airports where you could only use them so often.
-
I like the idea.... But I can't see it working or being added
Ultimately the devs would have to decide on a fixed max distance the bridge can be used for..... I reckon it will be either be too short to bridge gaps you truely need to cross, like some of the mountain ranges in canada or too long where ppl will cross onto islands and open up more areas for ppl to get to.
I know at first glance the ability
To reach islands and more areas etc sounds like a good idea but we need to keep some kind of gps aspect to the game👍 -
i agree
-
No. 1) Water turf is illegal. Nick made airports to cross oceans. 2) If nick wanted to/could do this, he would have gone & "fixed" all the dead spots already. There are far less dead spots then there used to be! 3) If he wanted something like this, he would have made maps available in the market & made it so you could stack even more. 4) There isn't a point to going places that don't have roads recognized by the geocoder.
-
turf hopping threw thm for #4 also if u live up there. for # 1 i said nothing about water turf being available i said to cross amounts of water but nothing even close to the amount of the mass of the ocean though.

No one lives in Antarctica. You don't need to hop through places that don't have roads - now you can fly over them.
-
i dint mean to write that thn. i ment to hop over it. and il admit. antartica was extreme but u get the main part
-
I think it would be easier to elimate the road rule... Still no turf over water, but the need for a road is pointless

no need for turf in areas nobody lives in. -
There still meds to be something. Maps are too rare and the deadspots problem is far from fixed.

Thing is something still has to be done. While airports are a small step in the right direction they're not a total solutionßelial wrote:
