Code Punching Solution (maybe)
Forums › Suggestions & Feedback › Code Punching Solution (maybe)-
This just came to me and it seems rather practical. We keep our old system, BUT add a new one as well. Heres whats up I propose a type of mini game not an annoying point less one. But a series of ones you can do. The first thingh that came to mind was a reflex type code-mini system. Your keyboard becomes a bunch of icons, colors, or letters. And what appears on the screen you have to punch. If done well the game randomly invites a mobster whos been active within the last 2 months. Once your mobs about 80% larger than the average this feature is disabled for a time. or until your under 80% for 3 weeks or more. We can keep our old system and the mini games will require work and determination to build up your mob. And one you can't use the new system anymore it will seperate the sheeps from the goats even better.

i wait for belial

they all have to be code mini games so they stay similar with the old system. And no i don't belive this will drive tw into a stalemate. Although, the old system will get us there some day.

Hi Justin man long time no see sounds like a fun away to finally mob up (if it gets added I hope it won't some how be able to give you the sane person twice)
-
Awaiting for the german double s
-
So it just adds the new system? Because code punching sounds so much better.

Its a more active and less tedious way to punch codes the old system is always going to be available that way its up to your personal prefrence. So it just adds the new system? Because code punching sounds so much better.

To make it fair to the devs should it cost a questionable amount of don points to use? (pay once for keeps)
-
Think of it this way. We keep our old way of code punching, but add a new system to go along with it. Its win win kinda deal & we stay ture to code punching cause your punching codes in a diffrent stlye.

no, and the devs will benifit seriously fum, when you started playing this game and learned what code punching is and the ratio of inactives to actives did you say, "Yeah! Lets do this 150k more codes to go before i get to 16k!"?To make it fair to the devs should it cost a questionable amount of don points to use? (pay once for keeps)

Very smart idea Justin I like it this wud defetnetly help me
Out approve!! -
Yeah I suppose I'm going against myself by saying that it would cost mob points anyway
-
It would be a nice feature heck we can even have a new section in the forum to decide what the games could be
-
I don't see how it fixes any problems. Here's one fo you to work on JD. The solution to all these problems is the same. A mob cap. Now fix the resulting stalemate in a fair way that still gives some reward for time played
-
But keeps things more open for strategy.
-
Wow I guess some people just prefer a boring way to get codes lawl
-
This won't cause no stalemate people know that turfwarsdb.com exist and are to lazy to punch maybe they wud be lay to play mini game
-
Kudos for creativity but minus for practicality. The amount of time spent to implement this would be time better spent ironing out the annoying little bugs we've had for months. and with the current system, as tedious as it is, it does work, there's no doubt about that. Code will always remain, the question is how do we improve their functionality in a manner which gives equal opportunity for those with and without time or patience.

Well if I had to chose one aspect of this game that was tottaly unrealistic it would be the code punching I mean additions to your mom are suppose to me much more tedious to add but have MUCH more power involved I only hope that the code punching system could be slightly more realistic yet fair so it can balance out the lazy from the 24/7 code punchers
-
*mob not mom (although I wish it was to my mom)

You can never balance those 2 types of players. That would be giving unfair advantages. If the time is put in they deserve to be where they are. But the opportunity is what needs to be made easier.Well if I had to chose one aspect of this game that was tottaly unrealistic it would be the code punching I mean additions to your mom are suppose to me much more tedious to add but have MUCH more power involved I only hope that the code punching system could be slightly more realistic yet fair so it can balance out the lazy from the 24/7 code punchers

This could have been added to the other thread on this topic, that's still on the first page! Here was my answer from there:

I'd also rather punch codes. I watch tv & punch. Having to focus on a mini-game would require more attention for something that doesn't sound fun. I also want real players in my mob, not henchmen.

Couldn't people just copy paste twice as fast this way? And what happens when someone has every person in their mob already?

I don't see how it would work. Say you win the mini-game. Then what? Nick has to write code to pick a random mobster, but first it has to check to make sure the random mobster isn't already in your mob. This would have to happen constantly for how many people? That sounds like a lot of wasted coding (on nick's part).wec wrote:

Plus he's have to write something to make sure it only selects from people active in the last 2 months. I'd rather him work on Turf Wars, not mini-games.
-
Its not that hard to impliment mystery. Becuase in the new mini game system no one has a unique code. You tap in the code on the screen before the timer runs out and then it send to invite to someone thats not in your mob. Its easy to implement. And Nick has a team of people to help him in tw he doesn't do it alone.
