Since this is a GPS game lets bring a bonus to actually going places in real life!! Of you are physically in a location someplace, you should be able to cap turf from that location. This would add a whole new purpose to the GPS function and make play a lil more chaotic😬

Sorry Mr Bus, but I don't like this. There is no 24 hour lag allowing players to be defensive such as moving turf, getting a defensive V in place.

I'll give the same recommendation last time I saw this. While the complete removal of timers seems a bit drastic and may encourage spoofers, I think there should be a reduction of the timer for turf planted at a players current GPS position, perhaps coupled with a more intensive anti-spoof check.

What if there was an increased cap limit on what you could cap from current location per 24 hr period. Day maybe within a 20mile radius or something?

I've suggested this before too. My problem was I flew into a closed airport in real life and I couldn't plant turf there. It was ridiculous. There should be benefits to actually being in a location. If I could have only one suggestion in this whole forum this would be it.

I suggested a bunch of things like this awhile back. Nobody liked them because they gave too much of an advantage to GPS users. It's a shame. But i fully support this idea.

Another of my ideas was a defense bonus of 30% for gps placed turf. It could wear off just like airport penalties do.
Or a reduced timer for gps placed turf. So you can't cap right away, but you can cap sooner.

Some interesting ideas but I just see some players making wastelands and destroying everything in their area for cash and never placing turf so you can't do anything about it.

Capping from a GPS location is questionable both good and bad points.
If it was implemented a cap limit should be in place of say 5 turf in a 24 hour period and attack should be reduced by something like 50% when using this but this is no different to just planting and will just help immobile players who are over limit.
One major problem is I could go for a drive and if it is limited by area I could drive 200 miles and cap as I go into every area..................

I agree this has some upsides for people who would use it and to that I say good! GPS users should get some upside back after being abused with easy hopping and airports.

I'm opposed to the cap from location idea because it bypasses both the turf limit & 24 hour rules.
I can see wanting some kind of advantage for GPS location, but I'm not sure what, since it could also encourage spoofing.

How about you drop a pin at your current location that is visible to other players. After 24 hours you can cap from the pin like you can from a turf. And creating a new pin sonewhere else destroys the old one -

how about 1 gps cap per city per 2 weeks. it would be hard to wipe out an area or an enemy. you could move into new areas but would still be difficult for someone to sneak up on you since you would now have to wait 24 hours after that initial cap to cap more turf in that area.

@Augustine, it bypasses turf limit rules if the player doesn't already have a turf there. For example, if a player is 1,000 turf over limit, but has no turf in Florida, with this rule they don't have to tear down or increase their limit. They could just cap & spread into a completely new place without having to tear down or cap their way there.
I understand your point that there isn't a GPS advantage anymore. I just don't have a good suggestion for what to add.

I think it should be if you are physically located in the area of the turf you get a 30% attack and defence bonus. (You could turn this off in the settings if you feel it encroaches your personal privacy)
You would still need to follow all other rules to capThis would help you defend your home turf, and help you repel outsiders. It would bring more GPS to the game.
