I fthe person that put the price on ur head is anonymous what's stopping say me from capping 50 of ur turf and saying oh well someone paid me to do it so there's no "bullying" going on?
-
Also how do u keep it anonymous?

Nothing is stopping regardless of the hit or not. If you cap say 50 of my turfs and say some1 paid you to do it, you could've said NO. Fact would be that you accepted the hit.
Obviously we cannot keep the hit anonymous if the person carrying out pms the target but then I could a load of bs in a pm and there'd be no proof of it.

Keep an open mind about hit. It's not only one kind of hit (to ER a person). You could ask in a hit to have some1 cap 4 or 5 of a persons turf in a area and have another hit where you ask the target to be hit 30 times.
Plus, knowing that players could put hits on others, I'd be inclined to completely ignore player C until later, knowing he is just there as a distraction. There are loads of possibilities.
If you have 3-4 people hitting while you are in the middle of capping someone, I'm sure you'd take notice of that. -

How do u find ur hit man with out advertising ? -

I said it in the original idea I think. But you'd have a separate tab for it. When you click it you fill out the info. It'd ask for the targets name. What the hit will involve and the prize. When you click submit, it will be listed on a separate forum (kinda like a listing board) but it will not show who is listing the hit. The hit will be titled as Hit on [player name]. when you click on it, you would see the details on the hit and you would have a button at the bottom called ACCEPT.Obviously we cannot keep the hit anonymous if the person carrying out pms the target but then I could a load of bs in a pm and there'd be no proof of it.

@Candyman - basically if this was implemented, you'd take a screen shot of the advertised hit & presumably the confirmation that you accepted it. That way you could prove you took a job. Anyone without this proof/unwilling to provide it you could assume was full of it.

No. when I place a hit I have to state the prize. The prize money or loot would be deducted from my inventory/on-hand cash and put on reserve in the syste for the person that accepts my hit. The system would pay the hitman when the job is completed automatically. No need to take screenshots to prove you took a job. F say you take a job and fail to accomplish the requirement in the required time, you do not get paid. The prize is returned to the person that placed the hit (we could even have a deductio on return funds as say a processing fee lol)@Candyman - basically if this was implemented, you'd take a screen shot of the advertised hit & presumably the confirmation that you accepted it. 👆 the system would keep take of who placed the hit (if funds need to be returned) and who accepted te hit (in order to pay the person upon proper completion of the hit)
This info would not be open to the public of course. But a hitman can obviously pm the target and say he is paid for the hit. But since he doesn't know who is paying him, he won't be able to tell the target who put the hit on him.

Think of the hit list as the forum with the list of threads with their title minus the name of the OP.

@dagamer, it would prove to whomever you took the job to hit that you did it just because it was a job. (Assuming you wanted to prove that to the target.) I know the hitman wouldn't know who hired him; that's not the point. It would be a way to keep people from using hits as a cover, when they didn't really take the job.
Candyman will understand what I mean. It's about strategy & doesn't directly affect how such a system would work.

Two messages.
Message 1 would say "a hit has been placed on you."Message two would say "[player name] has accepted a hit placed on you."
This way no1 can lie about accepting a hit and you wouldn't have to deal with screenshots.

This is a great idea... It would give more meaning to money in the game...

Sorry this has way too many loop holes.
But imagine the threads. "Waaaah some one kepz hitlist me." The obvious point of mules. And muling would be annonomous. And the guy would 80% know who set up the hitlist. Worst off all the abuse. It's gona be abused by noobs. Also maybe a new form of trolling 24/7 keeps setting up targets on all local mobsters starting chaos. Also instead of using a V they will just set up a target no questions asks. -
Don't get me wrong I like the concept. But not how it would be used is bad but now we no the problems we could
Work past it example have a cooldown on how many times you can use it. -
@dagamer - yes that sounds like a good system.
@Bat Smurf - I was going to suggest something like you could only put a hit on the same player once a month. Then the problem becomes noobs asking their friends to put a hit on someone if they don't want to wait a month.
I'm still undecided as to how I feel about the whole idea.

Yea I aspect your points but remember noobs can post hitlist all they want, but some1 has to accept them too and also carry them out. They'd have to make the hitlist rewards worthy of the target to be hit and the work involved for some1 to accept.Sorry this has way too many loop holes.

Also maybe we can put a min requirement in order to create a hitlist like there is for Vs
-
I just think it will get abused example 1 now instead of out mobbin and tracking down someone that bullied u u can just put a price on his head. Example 2. Noobs overreact to alot of things. If I cap someone loot he can turn around and put a price on my head so I get pounded. 3. From ur new tags I'm guessing u Joined an alliance. Now say I anger u cuz I capped a turf or stole loot or u think I'm over taxing u, if u have 20ppl in ur alliance I can then have 20 prices on my head. Look how often noobs target someone in a V for regular attacks, now they gonna start putting prices on ppls heads.
-
How about
1) you need to be out of don protection (as the min level requirement)
2) can only place one hit at a time
3) cannot place another hit for 15 days
4) can only place a hit on a mobster that has an inf greater than 10% of your inf (like the capping rule) -

As for the asking friends to place a hit, remember that hits need to be accepted and carried out. In order for some1 sensible to carry out a hit, the reward much be tempting enough (no1 is going to accept a hit that has a crapy reward).@dagamer - yes that sounds like a good system.

Another thing is will the friend be willing to cough up all that much money/loot for the reward?

@♛Çąŋժूƴɱąŋ♛
Yea that would be fun and sort of a new challenge. People would have to think more before attacking/capping people. Also say I do get hits on you, you could turn around and do the same on me. Could even escalate to a nice war lol.Strategies will change. Right now wars are generally one alliance vs another. With this it can become that and we can have another layer of mercenaries for hire. Could be very interesting

It's pretty darn tough. If you are the only one doing it, you better plan on having at least 100 spare turf laying around or be prepared to buy a good 6 turf a day & spend a month or so chasing the player around. If you want it done within a week, you typically need at least 6 people that can lay 5-10 new turf a day. All of this depends on who you are chasing, of course. It can be easier or harder.♛Çąŋժूƴɱąŋ♛ wrote:

My example 👆 is about targets that either don't have a lot of cash or aren't running hardcore. You'd need a lot more to evict a vet experienced in war, especially if they had a medium-large mob.

Minimum price for a persons turf should vary on influence. Example. Inf= influence. Pcl= price the turf costs to lay. They all have a 500k fee.
1 inf: Pcl
30 inf: 1 million + pcl
40 inf: 1.5 million + pcl
50 inf: 1.6 million + pcl
60 inf: 2 million + pcl
80 inf: 3 million + pcl
86 inf: Price of turf *1.3 + pcl
Loot turf cost of loot *1.3 + pcl + inf before loot. -
