I get the point. But you are simply making an assumption about how people behave and that is very difficult to do in any situation as no1 is the same. I agree people take a break, quit or retire. But as I said before that doesn't have to happen. I was merely pointing out that no matter what I do, I will not get those inactive mob members that vets have.Forget quiting or retiring (since if that happens I dont have to deal with them). Let's take "taking a break from punching." Taking a break implies that, they will return to punching. Theoretically, if they return and punch all the codes, no matter what I do, I'll never get to their mob size. Not as long as they are playing actively.

Because what you are proposing is a self serving change to make your life easier.
-
This idea is already outdated, we need Turf Wars 3 already!

What we need is "pussy wars" or " u fill in the blank wars" that only lets you get to 1k mob then makes you wait till everyone catches up then you can mob up to 2 k etc.. Oh an new players would start with the same number of mob as everyone else. Oh yea n to really make it "fair" everyone has the same amount of money too..

It should be called midlife crisis wars because everyone here thinks a simple suggestion is a personal attack to their dignity.
Yes, I realize that some things are tough. Don't get me wrong; I've been playing this game for just over a month. I've been punching codes and I haven't stopped. I do indeed live with what I have. I just thought it would be great for newcomers like myself and older players to be able to battle it out starting at the same time. Everyone is acting like it would be easy to become a strong person on a new turf wars. Does anyone realize the effort that would still be needed to be exerted?
-
A whole month, sorry I thought you were a new player.
I started almost a year after the game came out, I think I'm doing okay. Stop worrying about everyone else and concentrate on you, you'll have more fun. This "is" a game after all. ✊

I would love turf wars 2 it would be awsome
-
@dagamer01 you've had your capo basically for as long as I've been playing and your under 7k mob so obviously you don't punch so what would a new tw bring you? You would fall behind right at the start and then be saying its unfair because you can't catch the top mobsters again.
-
I say it's a great idea. As long as they don't reset the original turf wars because a lot of people put in a ton of work. So if they make another game similar maybe even the same but we get to restart than that would be cool.
-
It would kill this game as no new players would join. Massive 👎

It's just my opinion, but I don't believe this to be true. Turf wars has already established itself as a massive gaming app. New players who want to jump right into the action with lots of people in their community can join this game. Those seeking a new opportunity would play that game. I for one wouldn't stop playing this game if a turf wars 2 came out. I would play on both.It would kill this game as no new players would join. Massive 👎

As dagamer01 has stated multiple times in this topic, he is not necessarily in favor of this idea. He's just been helpful in giving responses as to why certain arguments against the idea aren't completely "valid".

You weren't one of the people to say that it would be easy. I made the post because a few people came across acting like it would be.

It would hurt both games. The quality bets would stay here. The noobs and trolls would move to the new server and both servers would sufferHey it's feasible. It also encourages new players by not having them give up as they will have the hopes of being near the top.

I'm punching codes on this version, but not at a fast pace. If a new version came out, I would try to punch every code that came out, while still going at the same pace I am going right now on this version.

Why not just put the effort in here? Saying you'll never make it to the top isn't a valid reason.
I seriously doubt nick would want to have to keep track of 2 different versions. I can only imagine the work that goes into maintaining 1.

As far as making it to the top where your coming from is understandable:
It is true that people quit, but does everyone quit? There are at least 50 hardcore gamers aiming for that top spot; not to mention all the inactive mob members that they have. Unless all 50 of those players takes long breaks or quits, bottom dwellers like myself don't have much leeway to work with. -
Who the heck is Bob? Maybe nick doesn't want to hire more people for something like that.
You have chosen to be a "bottom dweller." There are people on the top mob board that started playing after me. Since you refuse to try, you'll never know if you could get there. So you're basically using it as an excuse to not try.
Does everyone quit? I'm not psychic & don't know anyone that is, so no one can answer that question. I'm not sure anyone that was on the board when the game first came out is still on the board.

Say a turf wars 2 is created, you still won't taste the mob leader board. You've shown no motivation to punching, which is fine, it isn't for some but don't bitch about it. People like me will continue to play turf wars 1 but will also join turf wars 2 and will also punch there, you will still be in the bottom ranks because hitting the accept all button will not get you on the leader board period.

Ya that makes sense create a second server so basically each community would be half the size of this one and higher more staff.Mystery wrote:

Or...what if there was a prestige system, like in Call of Duty? Voluntarily resetting after your mob reached a certain size would get you some kind of big benefit behind resetting, plus a special symbol next to your name so everyone would know you are a badass.

I would just like to know how it's supposed to make sense to the developers to run an entirely new server for tw2 when, from what it sounds like, it will be exactly the same as the original. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Somethin I've learned in life is that if you wanna be the best at something, it takes time. Theres nothing else. You just have to decide if you wanna put in the effort.
