I think its a good idea since capos are really only for prestige

I think the capo should pick a taxe between 1k and 20k so if he picks 20 there would be a huge chance that somebody would take him out if capo whereas if he did 1k then people would be more peaceful and happy

I like this idea. However, I would say between 0k and 20k. It would really make things fun and interesting.

The "Tax rate" should be settable, like SimCity if the tax is to high players would either Leave, revolt or threat him with revolt!

They should make it you get 5% of all turf income in your capo area if you had 1 mob and slowly decrease to 1% when you reach 60K. So this affects most.

Being capo is one of the little bigger thing here, not that big, but what I'm thinking is that if you are capo you would get a % of the other turfs in your area and that % would be payed every 24h, the % could be changed by the capo, different "tax rates" would give different advantages and disadvantages like a low % would bring more players but would obviously decrease your income, while a higher "tax rate" would bring in more $ it will scare away newcomers, make peppol leave and in worst case, trow you of ya throne!

One problem thow, what if you just joined turf wars and have one small turf and not much money, you will just get a negative income, shall we say like over lvl 10 or 25 then you hav to pay the capo

All u guys sayin the capo should choose if u pay 0-20% think how little u would be making if u lose 20% of ur income. Then tell us if it's a good idea or not.

No to the 0-20% thing. 60K+ mobsters will do this in every airport and earn billions.

Imagine if this was implemented. All of us would loose income. Even people who have capos. Only capos of gigantic cities like las vegas or houston or san fran (ect) would actually make a profit

On the surface this sounds really good, and personally I would like it. However, I see two problems. First, Nick has made a concerted effort to balance this game out, trying to give newer small mobs a fighting chance. This seems to be a step backward from that. Second, might it not drive the casual turf-dropper out and thus reduce everyone's income. If I had a few turf in a city just to remain local and gather some income, I might be inclined to bail if I started paying the Capo. And after all, isn't there a very workable taxing system already in place. I don't know, just some thoughts.

i agree with this but for new players it would be difficult. i think you should be at a certain lever before being taxed by the capo. alowing newer players to get on there feet. i remember when i first started playing it took me forever to gain the money to upgrade my turf and buy weapons. but i would like to see this idea go into play

I think its a great idea, it might be a good idea to let lower levels pay a lot less so they can get started.

I got plenty of money and nothing to spend it on. And I'm not even a big player. Viper has $4 trillion. What's he need more money for? Anyone big enough to be capo of even a small city already has more money than they can spend.
