I use colourful vocabulary all the time. I understand why some people find it offensive. These things are results of being 'educated' while growing up. If it's taboo to use such words in your family or social circle, then your outlook tends to be that of your peers.

I was brought up around people where such words were common place, used in everyday conversation. Not always used in a cussing context. The word fuck is probably one of, if not THE most universal word around!

I sensor myself in certain company & not with others. I don't use foul language around my kid and almost never in front of my parents. I keep it to a minimum with my bosses & next to never with customers & clients. In general, i usually watch my mouth & let the other person say a "bad word" first. I test the waters & if they're warm, then I let loose my dirty little whore mouth.

I swear like crazy sometimes. I really try to censor myself because I find it trashy when people use sware words as normal parts of a sentence. It also doesn't help that I work at a bar where all the drunks speak almost exclusively in profanity towards the end of the night.
