What is the generally accepted method of upgrading turfs? Every time I go over 86 I get some angry messages, yet if I stay at 86 I end up loosing money to someone with larger turfs. It's a catch 22 type situation, and as a small player there isnt much I can do.

Sure, I can put large influence turfs over inactive players away from large cities, but that doesn't help local economies grow, leaving me and everyone with less money.

So do it smart. Put them on during the night when most won't notice. Then remove them during the day.

If you are paying protection move elsewhere. There's always somewhere better. If you are going to equip extra upgrades in general you become a target, so be careful.

? Taxing inactive players hardly effects the local economy. In fact you moving there and building turf does more good than bad. It's only capping that upsets income.
