There's a whole forum for codes. That's where they can be found, that's where they can be posted, that's where they belong, that's where they shall stay. The code signature thing is a way of the past. There are far too many people in these forums to keep tabs on exactly who does exactly what and for nick, beauty, moderators or whoever to make sure everyone gets the same treatment on this issue. For the record, it seems posting your code in the general discussion forum leaves you subject to a temporary forum ban. It would make sense that repeat offenders get a more permanent ban. Everyone knows there's a place for codes, so let's leave them there. And now no one who reads this can say they're uninformed.

Well said -
We have the right to add signatures to make a post seem more official

Nick makes the rules. He can make whatever rules he wants. We have the option to follow them or he ban us. We don't have rights over this matter nor should we
-
So our posts should look trashy because some people have power trips? If this is what this game has become I have no reason to stay
-
Glad to see you're not banned... Is this still from the other day? I thought ultra cleared it up?
-
Nah. Not banned. You're allowed to disagree with the dev and staff. And here I fully disagree with changing rules that were Lon established and killing off a noble tradition

First of all - that's hilarious. Some signature with your code doesn't make anything official. We have the right to add signatures to make a post seem more official
Secondly - I haven't seen you use a signature in the 8 months I've been playing. Your just using that as a weak excuse to tey to force the isur because you just got banned
And finally - if you need a signature to make yourself feel like a big boy, then use your name. Or even a clever saying or quote. That's a signature. No one cares about your code.

Those kind of signatures get annoying and monotonous. Sigs give us who don't punch a small steady mob gain. And for the record I sign one or two posts every month⌖🔥Belial🔥⌖ wrote:

Try* and issue*.
Ugh.

But I can see this is nothing but the Xbox/congrats forum now. It's really sad
-
For the record this thread says sigs are completely acceptable

Can someone please explain exactly how it is bad to have a signature with a code in it? I can understand people repeatedly creating a thread advertising there code in the GD section but again how does it cause a problem as a signature?

why is it such a big deal to ask a question? I see far dumber stuff jamming up the GD than I do codes as signatures

I'm not one for sigs, just thought I would test the waters, my ban answered that so no more sigs.

Things change. In real life and on this game. If Nick doesn't want people putting their code in GD in any way he has the right to stop you. This isn't worth causing a fuss over.Turf🐑Warrior wrote:

where are the user guidelines? I am curious to read them

Missy is the only person I can think of that uses a sig all the time, but that's probably just to remind herself who she is in the early hours 😋

My guess is he's tightening up on it because so many n0000bz are really abusing the code thing. Which is a bummer.

I run a fitness forum and have the same problem with spammers trying to post their "back links" to try to advertise some ridiculous thigh cream or detox diet that their website is selling.
It would spam up the forums. I agree with Nick. We have a dedicated code forum - use that.
