In 4th grade. The scariest part was the fact it defied the whole, you have to invite a vampire into your home. The girl was laying in her bed in her mansion, half asleep. She heard a tapping noise on the window, dismissing it as a tree tapping the window. The tapping became a scratching, and she looked over to see the vampire scratching away the plaster or whatever holding the window in place. -
She tried to call for help and got up to run, but it looked at her and she met his eye, and he paralyzed her. He then just simply stepped into the room and began feasting on her blood. The book was more detailed of course, making it much scarier.A
