I really like the show, I would have to say my favorite character is Daryl. Badass who is really just a good guy underneath. I never read the comic till I bought a collection for myself for Xmas. It's kinda interesting reading the comics after watching the show, obviously the show is alot more detailed and involved but the comic caught my attention just as much. I've already read the first 48 issues, waiting now to get the remaining ones.

The comic is much better. I'm hoping in the new season they introduce the Governor.

I LOVE THAT SHOW but since I heard about it a only a month ago I'm kinda behind I just started season 2

I don't think we will see the governor in season 3of they follow the comic. There's just too much story to cram into the rest of season 2 and then into season 3. If anything we may see the governor as the cliffhanger for the end of season 3. They still have to deal with Shane, and then find the prison, and of course Lori and her pregnancy/birth of judith will take up alot of episodes. I'm starting to wonder if Tyrese will ever be on the show, I think Daryl kinda takes his place so I doubt we ever see him. Then that brings up the question that how much will the show be like the comic? I actually think its gonna take a big turn away from the storyline of the comic, maybe totaly cut the prison out completely, and just have them run into the governor as a group, then maybe season 3 will be all about the governor.

Yeah they have veered away from the comic some. I'm surprised at how much to be honest. I think they went at such a slow pace at Hershel's. They better bring on Michonne.

Best place to buy is probably amazon. I bought the compendium one book, which is a collection of the first 48 issues. But there are other books and volumes, I've never actually seen a single issue of the comic, just collections. The comics are still being made, they come out about once a month, currently around issue 92 I think.

Had to look it up, The rest of season 2 returns Feb 12th, I guess zombies like their football playoffs too.
