Dont try to keep your life the same, react fast to reduce expenditure.
Basically hunker down financially, as you don't know when you will get another job and it's best to over prepare than to run out of money. I knew one person who didn't, they even went on holiday! They lost their house when they couldn't afford the repayments.

Good advice - start making contingency plans, tart up your CV and get back In the market. Easier to get a job while you are in a job.
