I was woken up with Breakfast in Bed from my 6 and 8 year old daughters who made me Chocolate Chip Pancakes all by themselves. Also had coffee, orange juice, and some fried ham. The good news is they didn't burn the house down.
The BAD news is they found some scrambled eggs with ham in the microwave from yesterday mornings breakfast and reheated them and I ate them.... I feel my stomach churning already. Of course that might be from all the egg shells and hair I ate in the pancakes! Lol
They colored me a nice note thanking me for being their soccer coach! I am blessed!!

(my eight year old plays xbox with me and volunteers foot massages. and is also an excellent cook, although he likes to make weird shit like matzo ball soup and scrambled tofu. and it kills me inside, but he decided to go vegetarian.)

what was his reason for going vegetarian? Just curious. Was it him seeing you slice up meats when you cook or something?

Aww, that it so sweet! What cool kids you have! Just try not to think about it. Thinking about it & thinking you will get sick only makes it worse. People have eaten worse things and not gotten sick. 😋 Heck, we've used raw egg yolks in our Hollindaise (spelling?) sauce since I was a kid. We've also always added a raw egg whenever making a milkshake (it makes it frothy.) It's a miracle I've never gotten salmonella!
