Dont you think it would be a good idea if we got 1 respect point everytime we leveled❔❔❔

I like it. But it wouldn't really be fair to start now, you know? It doesn't take as long to get from level 16 to 17 as it does to get from level 66 to 67, so the newer players would start racking them up fast, which isn't fair to us older players.
But, if it was retroactive & I was suddenly handed a lump sum of 67 respect points, that doesn't really seem fair to the newer players.

It happened as was described in this thread for sure. We all got one point per level the day it was put into play.
