I personally like the 1971 best. I'm hoping to get one soon to fix up. Gonna make it all original.

None. I believe there were only 2 good american muscle cars, a late 50's corvette and I think a late 50's/early 60's mustang.

Didn't Mustang debut in '63?

Even if I'm not much of a fan, that definitely is a classic.69 hands down

My grandmother had a 68 stingray tripower. That car had some serious curves and a whole lot more. You should google it 😃

The actual production started in 64, was released during the summer (hence 64 and a half) but there are a handful of 63 pre-production mustangs that were made, there's like less then 40, if you look at the mustang concept cars they look pretty sick, and yeah 69 was the best year for any car, 69 chargers, camaros, mustangs, firebirds, cudas, coronet(which I have and I love it)YOU wrote:

Sounds pretty sweet. Bet the gas mileage sucks though.

1969 had the Ferrari 365, Alfa berlina, and lancia fulvia. That qualifies it as a pretty great year.Boner Jams '03 wrote:

Yeah my coronet has one of the rarer 440 hemi magnum six pack engines in it, forged pistons, headers, blower, serpentine belt, it makes close to 930 hp last time it was put on a dyno but more works been done to it since so I'm guessing about 950 hp right now, I get about 1.5 mpg at most lol, my daily driver is a 1986 ramcharger 360 engine bored over and headers, a 4 in lift kit and 35 in bulletproof goodyears off of a military humvee it gets like 8-10 mpg on a good daySounds pretty sweet. Bet the gas mileage sucks though.

You forgot GTO! My first car was a blue 69 GTO. I still drive it! Oh and just a disclaimer, I'm not an old man. My uncle just restores muscle cars, and sold it to me about 8 years back ;)Boner Jams '03 wrote:

It's a Camaro, there is no best. They simply had years they didn't totally suck (before 72).
-
I like the 69 and 86, I had an 86 with a 400 small block in it and dual 4 barrels.

The 69 is great and all, and I know it is one of the most popular years, but the 71 front end, especially with the two circular headlights and the split bumper, looks amazing!
-
1969 to 1972 / I love the 71-72 with yellow paint and black stripes and split bumper 🚕🚕🚕💨
