Well said, your an informed man.I support most of his positions, the major exceptions being foreign policy and civil rights. I agree that we should focus on fixing our country before we try to fix other countries- it's common sense. But he seems very indecisive on a lot of it, and that will hurt him.
He also wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which, honestly, even if it actually did get through Congress, it'd create too many other problems.
All the same though, much better than Romney, and certainly much more consistent.

Actually those news letters were shown not to be confirmed with Paul's ideas... He didn't write them, and he completely opposes them... Just old junk the dying dinosaur media is trying to bring up to demonize his message of limited government and freedom of civil rights.⌖🔥Belial🔥⌖ wrote:

Obama signed the NDAA bill into law. How is he sane? He has done away with the fourth amendment! -

He just wants the US to obey its own laws on foreign policy. Like the Logan's act which keeps our boots off other territory unless declared war. Paul wants a strong national security and not a global agenda to take over the worldRevenge wrote:

Ron Paul is the only canidate who is not willing to throw out the constitution in the name of terroism, and security. That's why I would vote for him, you can trust he will uphold that presidential oath into office.

Didn't you or someone make a thread with this exact title last week?

If it was up to Obama and Ron Paul who would you choose?

I would choose the man who would make sure we remain free. That is Ron Paul. Again Obama has shown , and has proven that he is willing to strip the constitution and the bill of rights.

Look at the 12th doctors post. He wants to repeal the civil rights bill. And then he wants to give less power to government and more to the states. I disagree here, considering Arizona and its immigration law it wants in effect. States may themselves become tyrannical and abuse the land. You need government to keep control and make sure we have our freedoms. But now they have to much control and are working against us. It's a complicated mess.Philosopher wrote:

He does think that the Federal government had no business passing it, and that those things should be left to the states, which I agree with for the most part. And he was right about saying that the progress made with civil rights in the past forty years is due to private interest groups and real people doing things, not the law.And he doesn't want to repeal the civil rights act, he just disagrees with some of it. It's not racism its Liberatarianism
